Hi I need some arguments about this subject especially arguments against it
This topic is locked from further discussion.
There are no logical arguments against it. Single people have proven they can be parents... why not two people of the same gender? If they can make it through the rigorous adoption process... they deserve to adopt a child. Heterosexual people who would never be good parents can just make them whenever they want. Seems kind of unfair.
I can't think of a single reason why not, parents are still parents..regardless if they're the same sex and the child will grow up accepting that as the normality.
why should they not be allowed to adopt?MattUD1Because there are people out there who still think homsexuality is a choice and they're worried that the child will willingly choose the same lifystyle as his/her parents.
[QUOTE="MattUD1"]why should they not be allowed to adopt?MushroomWigBecause there are people out there who still think homsexuality is a choice and they're worried that the child will willingly choose the same lifystyle as his/her parents.Because heterosexual parents always raise heterosexual children? :P
bottom line is
A same sex couple is always going to be better for the child than no parents. Sure he or she might get bullied a little or develop some complex about not having a maternal/paternal relationship in their life but this is still infinitely better than a lonely child.

Yes. homosexuals should have the right to adopt.
they are people just the same and should be treated as such.
if gays are truly wanting to adopt then that means they know the risks and are capable of adoption, usually. now i know there are probly some cases where they are not capable but the ones that are, whether it be, two males or two females, should be able to adopt.
sorry if that was confusing or whatever:P i know what i want to say but i cant quite put it into words:P

...and /thread.
a child without parents learns to survive, becomes a man. a child with homo parents ends up being one of them. we already got enough In addition to being utterly wrong (as shown by multiple studies where heterosexual children were raised by same-sex parents) you might want to chillax on your use of the epithet homo[QUOTE="Partcik"]

you cant catch the gays
I feel sorry for kids of fat people too.no....i feel bad for the kid who has to go through it...
"hey guys my parents are homos, whats up?Revolution316
"Hey guys my parents are obese, whats up?"
Clearly fat people should not be able to have children, either, the poor might get teased about it by other kids! (Who happen to be jackasses that will tease people about something else anyway...)
Also, because being teased is sooooo much worse then living a miserable life with no parents at all...
Also, if homosexuality was less taboo, those children wouldn't be teased about it. They key is more tolerance, not giving in to intolerance because it is easier.

are you serious? homosexuals are not a different species, they are people just the same and should not be referred to as "one of them".
and where is your proof to that statement?

The first 40 seconds of this Here explains the issue with gay people
I don't actually remember ever seeing anyone on OT be very adamantly against any type of gay rights, so I think you're on the wrong site for that.XilePrincessRead through some of the posts in this thread . . .
Subject matter of this type, while allowed needs to have a very strong beginning, and that falls to the responsibility of the topic creator. Plus based on the opening post, I don't see the topic creator doing much in this thread.
Feel free to create a new thread but start right off the bat with discussion starting with your very own opinions. Making a topic asking everyone else what they have as an opinion but failing to do so yourself? Sorry won't fly. Thanks.
