should i be scared about this?

my dad is like 44 years, he has a real dark tan from his roofing job. i looked at his arms a few minutes ago and i saw these long dotted red marks, i asked him about it he doesn't know how they got there. could this be something bad i checked the net about it and stuff about birth marks and acne come up. this cant be skin cancer could it???

also he quit his roofing job a long time ago and he really hasn't been out in the sun but im still kinda worried.
