Usually I get one day a month off (of my own accord). Once I spent that day I have to wait three weeks and wait till next month to get a day off. Since tomorrow's February, should I say screw it and call in sick for all my obligations?

I wouldn't do it unless it's a paid day off. You'll get your paycheck and get pissed that it's a hundred bucks short.

But I have sick days. If I dont use em by the end of the year then they're gone (I normally work when I'm sick unless I can't get out of bed anyway).

Technically, don't you already get a day off this month? February is the shortest month of they year.

No. Go earn your damn paycheck. It's one thing to pretend you're sick and stay home from school, but it's another entirely to cheat your employer.

You still have a long way to go, save them for the summer.

I do earn my damn paycheck, then half goes to social security I'll never see and another chunk goes to my rent (moneygrubbing bastards). I think I'm entitled to screw the system over every now and then after all the times it's flipped me on my stomach and (yeah).

This is the first time I've ever called in sick at this job. I've been sick since Saturday and I work Monday to Friday so, I havn't been working for the last four days or tomorrow for that matter. I'm a hard worker and i have nothing to lie about so my boss didn't have a problem with it at all.

I'm a hard worker and all. I'm honost and don't usually cheat the system (except on this occasion) but my life feels like a jggling act some days. I just take a day off once a month so I don't lose it.
