Should i get an iPhone?

need a new phone and my friends are telling me to get an iPhone, but I've heard a bunch of things about products made by apple. "The Batteries fry after 2 years", "they brake very easily and are hard to replace" etc.

In Short: should i get an iPhone?

People that say it's expensive haven't done any research. The iphone itself is more than a blackberry, treo, or WinMo but the plans are cheaper. I was planning to get a blackberry to replace my WinMo phone and found out the iPhone works out to be the cheapest Smartphone after 18 months since the data plan is $15 less for the iPhone than the others. The only place you're going to find a cheaper smartphone+data plan is with T-Mobile where the data plans cost the same but the phone is about $150 less (for a BB Curve).

And the people that say it's junk fail to mention the customer satisfaction surveys where the iPhone kills every other phone and the Consumer Reports article that ranked the iPhone the highest.

No matter what, DO NOT GET A WINDOWS MOBILE PHONE.Mine is without a doubt the worst electronic device I've ever owned by a mile, and I'm not exaggerating.
