[QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="MissRiotmaker"]The joys of smoking include:
- Shortness of breath
- Lack of appetite
- Disrupted sleeping patterns
- Tar stains on fingers and teeth
- Tobacco odour lingers
- Increased chances of lung cancer
- A waste of money
- A quick addiction that's hard to come off of

Shortness of breath...I still work my ass off more than my lazy non-smoking coworkers.
Lack of appetite...good. Maybe that's why I'm not fat.
Disrupted sleeping patterns...I think working 75 hours a week disrupts my sleep more than a few cigarettes.
Tobacco odor lingers...good. Tobacco smells good.
A waste of money...I could tell you that videogames are a waste of money too. At which point you'd reply that they aren't a waste of money for you because you enjoy playing them.
No at this point I'd just wish you smoke those cigarettes faster and just die already.
I think that says a lot more than you realize.
See, the thing is, you can look at someone, and we're all different. Some of us are bad, some of us are good, and some of us are bad and good. But when you look at a person, what defines that person for you? What traits are important? What traits are trivial?
These are things that people must decide for themselves.
However, if I were to ever look at someone who was, for example, morbidly obese, and find myself wanting them to die because they are repulsive, that's a reflection on ME, not them.
But you know, that's really your business. Not mine, not anyone else's. How you choose to define a man is none of my concern. I just wanted to state, in very clear words, that YOU WANT PEOPLE TO DIE BECAUSE THEY SMOKE. That your calculus on what defines a man is based first and foremost on whether or not he smokes. And if he smokes, then he should not be allowed to live.
So really, think about what you've just typed. I'm not asking you to change your mind, I'm just asking you to think about it. And after seriously contemplating the implications of what you've just said, if you STILL hold those same feelings, then you should be disappointed to learn that you are LESS of a man than most smokers.
