Will said helmets protect against skateboardingly-transmitted diseases?SmashBrosLegend
Nope, just head injuries. But you're right. That's not nearly as important.
Good idea, but i'd much rather the school's money to go towards new things like books, chairs and desks. Also paying the teachers more is always good. I agree with that other guy though. It is up to the parents and police to worry about safety. How about this, a $40 for not wearing a helmet. A bit extreme but whatever makes anyone safe, eh?Rurouni_Fung
You're right. So the police should give out cond...er, I mean skateboard helmets.
No. Skating isn't a "hush-hush" topic among most American families and isn't really scorned.

But still, it's the school's responsibility to worry about what dangerous activities kids are doing outside of school, right? I mean, just because someone might be able to get out of the house to actually go...skating...that doesn't necessarily mean they would be able to also go to the store and buy the proper gear.

They can. The only thing that would stop them is their parents permission...which parents easily give when it comes to skating, though not so much on...other things. Where society is pressuring parents to **** up and forget common sense, the school can offer protection. But skating is hardly something that is repressed.

You don't need a parental consent form to buy stuff at a drug store...
I see what you did here.
Tough question. I would say yes, since the uber-right wing says no, and I like to diametrically oppose them, so long as it does not put me on Michael Moore's side.

That might be the worst reason I have ever heard for anything. I mean - so murder and arson should be legal?
