Eliminate unnecessary programs .Like the new Health Care Program? No, I mean the hundred of useless programs that serve no purpose.[QUOTE="EMOEVOLUTION"][QUOTE="whipassmt"]

[QUOTE="WarEagle1357"]We should just sell the useless states like the Dakotas. :P mattbbplIf we sell Alaska, Palin would go with it, right? ;) plz don't sell us :(
[QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="thunderf00t"]I say we sell Texas.nimatoad2000We will gladly leave on our own...at least according to Governor Rick Perry honestly i would be so happy if texas seceeds. without all those electoral college votes, republicans will have almost no chance at winning a presidential election. thats the extent of what i can say without being suspended. 1 party system FTL...worst idea ever (this coming from someone that can't stand either party...but I sure don't want 1 party getting everything they want pushed through...pure hell no matter which party it was)
Eliminate unnecessary programs .Like the new Health Care Program? There is no new health care program. The best place to start is to start cutting on the Department of Defense.[QUOTE="EMOEVOLUTION"][QUOTE="whipassmt"]

Never! We should get rid of Washington. We don't need two of them therefore we keep the district and sell the state then throw in Maine for free just for the hell of it.No, they just need to sell California. I'm sure Mexico would love to have it back.
Hell, throw in a buy-1 get-1 deal: buy California and get Nevada free!
Theokhoth
No, canada wants Maine back. thankyou very much.D.C. should sell Wisconsin to Canada. I could use that awesome healthcare system and lower crime rate.

EDIT: throw in alaska and we have a deal.

That idea is almost as bad as Sarah Silverman's idea for ending world hunger.
The Pope has too much money and doesn't do enough :x (by HIS standards) Plus I'm sure the Vatican is worth way more than the White House.[QUOTE="smc91352"][QUOTE="JoeRatz16"]The Pope has too much money and doesn't do enough :x (by HIS standards) Plus I'm sure the Vatican is worth way more than the White House. (I don't know, no debate to be had here)Some say it's worth about $308 million.Good idea, I say they give it shot, and see what they could get for it.

[QUOTE="JoeRatz16"]The Pope has too much money and doesn't do enough :x (by HIS standards) Umm the Vatican budget is around $350 million dollars a year, The Planned Parenthood Federation of America has a $1 billion dollar budget, to PPFA $350 million dollars represents the amount of money they receive from the U.S. Federal Government. Oh not to mention the Vatican's been running deficits for the past two years, whereas Planned Parenthood made a profit of $85 million dollars. That idea is almost as bad as Sarah Silverman's idea for ending world hunger.

Once he invited me to eat with him. It was a great joy. He is a very simple man, he doesn't make big ceremonies, he doesn't show that he is the Pope. One time when I took him a book of mine, I took off the wrapping there with him because I was afraid he wouldn't look at what was inside. I was befuddled because he got up from the chair and he, himself wanted to throw the paper in the trash can. He is a great man in simplicity, or rather in humility.

Huh? I thought the nature of the debts made it impossible for them to ever be payed off.
Something to do with producing money.
Selling the White House would be like selling the countries identity..it is the most significant monument in the United States..
The White House is the most recognized building in America. Since it was first constructed 200 years ago, the basic form, shape, and use of the structure have remained the same. Although many technological changes have occurred, and wings and porches have been added, the White House looks much as it did in November 1800 when President John Adams (1797-1801) first moved in. Because the building has kept its form and shape, the image of the President's House has remained constant for two centuries. The White House has come to symbolize the presidency and American leadership here in the United States and around the world.
