ROTFL!
I'm sorry, first of all, if the US was to disband the dollar and adopt the Euro, the Euro's worth would decline.
And 2nd of all, the US is not in the EU or located in Europe and is the sole remaining super power. I highly doubt it would allow itself to become a laughing stock by using another group of nations' currency.

absolutely not. Thats one of the worst ideas ive ever heard.
Its not just a form of money, you should probably research how finance works and shapes societies.
In the end result, it would make us under european rule. which is exactly what we fought against. We didnt just fight against british rule, we didnt want anything to do with europe after winning the war other than trade.
no because then this country will only have around 6 dollars.....
Euro is worth so much more than the dollar now..
I say we go old school and start paying each other with turnips again.AirGuitarist87
I like that idea! Edible currency. ;D
Nothing is stoping you from switching to the euro. There's even a few places in new york that accept it. There's plenty of countries across the world that prefer to use the US dollar over their own currency.jrhawk42
Yea I read about that on CNN.
