Should kids with down syndrom or any mental desase deserve to die? Don't get me wrong I'm not cold hearted and evil. But, seeing these kids in my school walking around and seeing other people make fun of them, to me why not just end them. They will never live a normal life, always being baby sitted around for basically their whole life or untill they find a cure.I mean it's like abortion right?

looking at a country as a machine, it's always best to weed out the lagging parts. that being said there are larger drains (read: most of the elderly) on the economy then people with Down's.

Although to you it may seem that their life is terrible, actually they are very happy, I think because they think differently, for example a kid at the school I used to go to would sometimes wave his hand in front of his face, saying "you can't see me", and he was convinced that he was actually invisible because of it. He didn't do anything stupid, dangerous or perverted with his 'invisibility' but although to everyone else he just seemed to be crazy, I think he probably enjoyed thinking he was invisible a lot.
A better question to all of you is if you knew your child was gonna have down syndrome when they were maybe a week old fetus, would you abort or give it up for adoption
I seriously thought this was a joke topic. Kill all the people that depress us? Ugh, anyway, I think a lot of mentally handicapped people are pretty happy, the ones at my high school are always smiling.

my brother is mentally retarded and i have to say no.
despite how "normal" people seem to live the high life, it'll never be as happy or exciting as theirs. we'll never know what they feel and think on the inside, but in some ways their life's a hell of a lot better than ours.

well, would you want the woman carrying the baby whether it was your wife, or a surrogate, or a girlfriend, or a one night stand to abort or give it up for adoption?
I'm a little surprised that the guy who said that joke is getting more flak than the OP. Personally I'd rather have them all in their own comunity than executed...
