I say yes. Start with one. Most likely it would either be a copy of a human, or some sort of human that is back to it's animal nature. I think it wouldn't be normal. It would be a monster, but science is important. What do you think?

depends, would you give it free will like an individual or keep it imprisoned and studied?

It would be studied, but the degree depends on how much of a monster it is.

I don't really see the point in it since I consider nanotechnology to be the forefront to all future technology.

I don't think so, just stick with animals. Human life would totally change if we started making mass clones of people.

I could see the benefits of having clones... but what rights (if any) do they get?

Yes, but just once so that we can prove it's possible. Then make it illegal. Ethics are messy and all.

We should make clones and give them enhanced human properties (strength, intelligence, looks) and use them to do jobs that we don't want to do. Also - limit their life span to four years as a fail-safe.

Naah, I think we're messing with nature too much. I wanna be unique. But at least a clone would do well for a co-op game.

Well remember, humans are animals, and we already made clones of animals, right? So what's the issue here?

To play devil's advocate's, the usually stuff: unnatural, playing God, etc. Plus, not as if everyone is even pro-cloning with non-humans to begin with. Even with the folks that are, but against cloning with humans, they would argue that humans are different from the rest of the animal kingdom, because of such things as are intelligence level, for example.

I don't think we SHOULD. But if one were to use them to test products on, than I can see the benefits.

Definitely not. We'd probably have them strung up by their intestines after a week.. all in the name of science.

I don't think we should clone full humans, but I think we should clone specific human organs to help with the sickly.

No, it is an ethical disaster waiting to happen. Cloning should be only limited to organs so that people wouldn't have to die just because there wasn't a suitable donor available.
