Ok, I'm not trying to be a hater, but in all honesty, there are some shows on air right now, that are better off dead, thus allowing better shows to take their places. I'll start us off:

Heroes - I'm sorry guys, this showhas been bad for so long and isn't showing any signs of improvement. NBC was willing to cancel great shows like LIFE and Medium real fast, yet here we still have Heroes. I think its time Heroes died.

Jay Leno - I know it just started but this show sucks...ALOT. 5 prime time slots...let me repeat that 5 PRIME TIME SLOTS!!!! no. :| This shows sucks and should be canceled as soon as humanly possible.

Cleveland Show. I don't see why McFarlen couldn't have just stuck with American dad and Family Guy, and also the show looks stupid...

Honestly lets just rid ourselves of all the reality tv garbage out there like Dancing With The Stars, or anything on VH1

I got the feeling Heroes will be cancelled way before Jay Leno does. The Jay Leno show is VERY cheap to produce, and sadly enough, turns a profit on selling advertising alone. And after all of the promotion the network has done for it, they;ll stick with it for as long as they can.

For real man! That stuff is so boring. The only "Reality TV" that I like is those cop investigation shows where they talk about past crimes that happened and how they found the murderer. Those are the only good ones. And I agree with the people who said Cleveland show. I would also like to add crap shows like 90210 and those type of teen drama shows. They are always so shallow and they just regurgitate the same content over and over again :?

Im the same, most last night talk show hosts are pretty bad interviewers to me. They clearly dont actually care about the person they are interviewing and you can tell when they are pretending. Thats why I like Jonathan Ross, he is awesome:D

The View. It's one of the biggest pieces of trash known to telivision, and telivision know lots of trash. The Leno show. The first night was cool. The show would be cool if it were weekly like most of the rest of the prime time lineup. 5 nights a week are just way too much. Most of the junk shown on the Discovery channel and the History channel. These channels used to be amazing. Now they are all about the craziest conspiracy theories and shows that don't belong (cash cab, etc.).

It would be pretty funny if Countdown and The O'Reilly Factor both got canceled at the same time.

^ And yeah, it would be even funnier if The View got canceled as well.

I never understood why late night shows even bother with celebs. All they do is ruin the entertainment value of the show. Comedians should be making us laugh, not interviewing some stuck up "star."

Heroes. I kept watching it and hating it and yet I kept watching it. Most of the time groaning every time they brought up seeing into the future through paintings for the millionth time or listening to the horrible dialog. I missed an episode and decided never to watch it again. I haven't watched it in about a year.

you wanna hear some bad dialogue?: NCIS is soft-core porn without the sex.

ABC Family is also responsible for some shows with bad dialogue.

Charlie rose is fantastic, he does really in depth interviews and seems like he actually takes an interest in his guests. He interviewed Sylvester Stallone once and it made me respect stallone a lot. he is much smarter than people think. Parkinson is also good even if he is getting old. I like how Jonathan Ross will sometimes ask questions other people avoid, like when he asked Colin Ferrell about the sex tape. His interviews with Ricky Gervais, and Simon Pegg are the best. I think he is much better than anyone in the U.S

The only Late Night show I've sort of enjoyed was Conan O'Brien and even then, I'm not really a late nite show type of guy. I prefer straight up TV shows than just hearing rich people talk about how they got more rich, and watching comedy sketches that are usually unfunny.

Dude, come on man. Lets put down the pipe for a second here and talk straight. Heroes has had some of the worst writing in the history is TV. And you know how people talk about plot holes, well Heroes has the mother of all plot holes. And you know what's even worse? They don't even try to explain it. For instance, the Irish girl Peter left in the future...WTF happened? In the season 2 finale with the vault...why did Peter just try to TK pull it out rather than just walk through the damn wall? As for the whole season with Adam, why didn't Peter just read his mind and see he was dodgy? :| Also there is the whole issue of time travellers. I was interested when we found out that Hiro had been nerfed. I'm all for him stopping time and all that Jazz, but not time travelling. You know why? Because with time travelling there is no challenge. He could literally go back in time and kill the main bad guy's mother before she gave birth to him. But now I find out that Hiro has all his abilities back and his nerf wasn't power based, but based on him, so technically Peter could absorb his powers and be like Pre-Nerf Hiro :|

how can MSNBC make you feel dumb? I can understand if its specifically Countdown; but if you felt dumb through any other part, its 'cause you are.

BTW do you mean Rachel Maddow?

Wow thanks for the confidence booster.

The only MSNBC women I know of are Contessa Brewer, Dr. Andrea Mitchell, Tamaron Hall, and Rachael Maddow. If its none of those, its probably a guest that the host had on.

Then it was either Maddow or her guest. Rachel always has facts, figures, or charts, something so that she can say the things she says. The things she points out are pretty hilarious; like how South Carolinians are against the public option, but have the worst health-care in the country. She definitely is more "fair and balanced" than FOX and has proof of things she says.

SPOILER TOWN AHEAD!!!

-

-

-

You know I've been thinking of a few quick fixes for the show:

  • Time Travel is possible (since they already made it so) but it's very hazardous to the traveler's life. So time traveling exposes to traveler to radiation that causes cancer and thus they must avoid using it unless its absolutely necesarry (maybe they should have a 3 times and you die rule).
  • Claire's blood should be made so that it only heals people without powers. On people with powers its useless thus explaining alot.
  • If Sylar gets his body back, there should be some mental consequences. So maybe when Matt puts him back in his body, he permanently damages his brain as much as he could thus only allowing him to hold 3 abilities at once. This would make it more interesting because he wouldnt be so OP anymore, and it would make Peter more relevant. Sylar has to kill his opponents to get their powers, Peter merely has to touch them. So while Sylar can hold 3, he knows that if he gives up a power, he will never have it back (since the source is dead). This evens up the playing field a bit. Peter can switch freely but hold 1 and Sylar can hold 3 but once gone, never found.
  • There should be a story line relating to the Irish girl. For instance, if they wanted to be cheap about it, she could have somehow gained super powers in the future and is now back for revenge, but that's just cheap story telling there. They could try something a bit more interesting by using Psuedo Science. So maybe when Peter took her out from present time, it caused a lack of mass in the present time thus causing a massive problems in the universe with time unraveling and all that jazz. Anyway, the solution should have to do with them traveling through time or dimensions and in the end resulting in the death of Hiro.

[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"][QUOTE="smc91352"]okay...what time did you watch, and what time zone do you live in?

The only MSNBC women I know of are Contessa Brewer, Dr. Andrea Mitchell, Tamaron Hall, and Rachael Maddow. If its none of those, its probably a guest that the host had on.

smc91352

It was late night and in the U.S.

You seem to like to defend MSNBC. I think they're both trash. BTW I'm a South Carolinian. ;)

[QUOTE="wslacker2"]Oh guys, I have a great idea!! Let's cancel all of Fox News shows, and have like an all Obama hour, followed by the Hilary Clinton Show, and the Joe Biden all access show. Yeah!

_Tobli_

Or... Replace it with a more constructive republican retort. In stead of right wing nutbags.

like such a thing exists; lol

the people who call themselves Republican would not vote that way if not for FOX, Drudge report, and other "right-wing nutbags". No party is perfect.

I agree with Heroes. Its easily the first show that comes to mind. Season 3 was some of the worst television I've forced myself to watch. It was seriously pathetic. Horrible dialogue, recycling of the exact same storylines, cliche's, not to mention it got so boring sometimes. Every single character in the show became unlikable (only Noah, but enough already with the "fake" jobs and the family finding out drama).

[QUOTE="lonewolf604"]

don't get me wrong i had the time travelling paradoxes as well, and how they could have revived nathan with claire's blood. but since i love XMEN, I love this show, because its like xmen combined with real life drama.

SPOILER TOWN AHEAD!!!

Anyway, the solution should have to do with them traveling through time or dimensions and in the end resulting in the death of Hiro.

i like the idea of the irish girl coming back for revenge because she was nice, and when that story was left untouched i was in WTF mode. but about sylar's power thing, isn't he an empath too? remember when he was in that room with the lightning chick

lonewolf604

Yeah, but that empath thing with Sylar was real dodgy, They didnt exactly flesh it out. They could just say that the only other way for Sylar to get someone's power, other than cutting them open, is if the other person willingly gives him the power, because with the Kristen Bell chick she "gave" him the power. Or if they want a quicker solution, they could say that when Matt attempts to remove his powers while returning his mind back into his body, he also took away his empath abilities, and he now can only rely on the brain leeching ability. Another thing that's sort of lame is Ando. I think he should become one of those characters who just fades into obscurity. Maybe he gives up all this super hero jazz so he can be with Hiro's sister.

Also, Sylar either has to die or switch sides. He has been in the show way too long and is getting monotonous. I would love it if Matt and Sylar began to trust each other, and Matt gave Sylar back his body. Sylar then tries to change, due to his new friendship with Matt, but no one trusts him and they all want him dead. Matt then stands up for Sylar thus creating a rift between the characters. If you see the actor who plays Sylar, his face isnt an "evil" face. You know, there are some actors who naturally look "evil" and "agressive" for isntance Garret Dillahunt who was in the 4400 and recently played Roman Nevikov in Life:

His face doesnt look very friendly, which is why they cast him for bad characters. The guy who plays Sylar, doesn't have that menacing look. He looks like a nice guy playing a bad guy role, thus it would be very believable for him to switch sides. Anyways, Sylar has to change or die...we can't have the same bad guy over and over again. Also, can we have a threat that comes from somewhere other than the super powered humans? Sometimes the most memorable villians and heroes are human (i.e. Lex Luther, Batman). We need more humans. And wtf happened to that kid who could breath under water, and Ms. Petrelli's sister?

Dexter, Lost, Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Match of the Day and Sesame Street.

They should have all gone years ago.

The Cleveland show. It's the same damn thing as American Dad and Family Guy. Only much boring and with a lot more racial stereotypes. Fox should cancel it and give its funds to a good show, like Glee.
