what do you guys think about dreams?

do you interpret derams and try to analyze them? Or, do you just ignore them?

do you have times where you really loved the dream that you wish you wouldn't wake up?

do you have times where dream was so vividly horrid that it was worse than watching any horror movies?

overall, do you think dream is just bunch of nonsense ..... or does it have any significance to us?

For me, some dreams feel that they hold a deeper meaning and others are just rubbish.

If I remember correctly, the statistic is that the average person has about four different dreams a night, yet they can't remember the majority of them. However, I haven't had a dream that I can remember in about two years now, which is rather disappointing...

I don't analyse my own too much, aside from the occasional typical anxiety dream that's easy to pick up on, e.g. finding yourself naked in public, or teeth falling out.

Usually i find if i remember the dream 10-20 mins after i wake up then some element of the dream will happen that day or within short space of time.Like for months i had a recurring dream were i was on the bus and my legs gave way and i suddenly couldnt breath and Kratos was lol'ing at me,then my lung collapsed and while in hospital completed GOW for PSP,and never had the dream again since.Another time i dreamed i ate a tree and it made me sick, that day i smoked some bad green and felt really bad for rest of day, only time i had bad effects.Just 2 examples from many

I never analyze my dreams. Sometimes I wake up and believe my dreams, like if I have a baseball game the next day and I dream about winning the game I'll think it is already over and I already won, until I realize I was just dreaming, which can take a while. Sometimes dreams are so good I don't want to wake up, but then again I rarely ever want to wake up, even if I'm not dreaming at all. Sure I've had nightmares, hasn't everybody? The worst ones are the ones that come back night after night.

My dreams have different feelings. Some dreams are just dreams, but others have a deeper meaning.

Well my last dream was about me and my family running in the street. Next thing you know my body gave out. It was like my muscles just tired and went out on me. I was telling myself " to move, move dammit" because a car was coming. In the end my body started to move and I made it to an escalator. It felt weird like I lost my body. But I guess the moral is my body can do anything with willpower

Dreams often reflect current events in my life, and sometimes what happens in them can be construed as a metaphor for what i should do or how I really feel.

I think I prefer nothing when I sleep. Dreams don't mean anything to me.

None of my dreams ever seem to have meaning behind them, or at least a blatant meaning. I sometimes dream about things vaguely related to what occurred to me that day/recently. I love having dreams, I hate waking up and you can't seem to get back into it when you go back to sleep. :(

I can usually figure out how my dreams connect with my real life. So yeah for me, it's fun going over my dreams.

It helps me go through some problems that I don't understand. Usually something recent in my life.

I do have dreams, and some are very cool and weird, some are very weird. However as of late, my dreaming has been almost all but disappear because of my new sleep times, and i didn't get to REM long enough to even remember my dreams anymore.

I want thouse blinking red light, right when you do go to REM. That will surly be fun to be awake, but still dreaming

If I have a good dream/nightmare I most likely write it down and turn it to a short story later on.

I'm a very firm believer in dreams and spend alot of my spare time researching and learning about them. One important fact to always remember is that dreams are symbolic and should never be taken literally. Ive had dreams were ive actually dreamt about future events or places unknown to me at the time but later down the line these events have played out or ive suddenly realised i recognise somewhere ive never been to before then realise i know it from my dreams.

Those that claim if u die in a dream u die in real life i can absolutely say are talkin complete rubbish, ive died so many times in my dreams i cant even begin to count how many. Ive been stabbed, shot, runover, thrown off cliffs/rooves/ledges, mauled by demons etc etc etc and im still very much alive. I even realise in the dream that im dead but then after a few seconds i get up and run off again only to be persued by who/whatever it was that was tryin to kill me.

I love to dream cause its a brief glimpse into the subconcious human mind and im fascinated by how it works.

I've been lately dreaming about being with this girl I have no clue who might be. I can't remember how she is in the dream or even In the language she speaks...It's...strange :o

But no, I tend to ignore my dreams. I might check the meaning of this one though :P

I do believe dreams hold significant meanings and I've read a lot of psychological literature on them.

I don't really pay attention to my dreams. I don't even remember most of my dreams and those I do remember are complete nonsense. I also don't believe dreams have much significance, just figments of what your mind was thinking about before you go to sleep.

Sometimes I have dreams that I only remember several days later. I'll wake up and not even know I'd had the dream, and then suddenly out of nowhere it all comes back to me and I remember the 'storyline', days later.
