South park is more unique, and can be faster made making it able to make quick parodies of big things in the news.

The Simpsons. South Park is overrated, it's too much hit or miss, one episode will be incredible and the next 3 will be terrible.

South Park.

Simpsons has been lame for years blah blah blah, but it seriously is not funny (I've started watching re-runs recently).

I prefer Family Guy or Futurama though...

There both good although the Simpsons aren't nearly as good as they used to be. Family Guy is good also.

In general, South Park > Simpsons, though each have their exceptions.

But, Simpsons Movie > South Park Movie

I love South Park, but The Simpsons is the original funny cartoon, a legend in its own right, and cannot be beaten.

I almost always burst out laughing in every South Park episodes, I laugh at some of the Simpsons, but its rare that I actually almost die from laughing.
