The Simpsons was inspiration for most of those kind of animated series. Also The Simpsons at its peak blows both futurama and family guy out of the water.
I like all 3 shows, but futurama would be my least favorite out of those 3. Now between Family Guy and the Simpsons, it depends. If we are talking about the older Simpsons episodes, I'dsay the Simpsons a little, but if we are talking about the newer episodes of the Simpsons, I'dsay Family guy.

i agree, i do like all three shows, but i like futurama the least. The simpsons to me was a really good show, but recently they are not as funny. thats why i choose family guy.
The Simpsons, just because they've been for the most part pretty consistant with good shows during their first decade... It's not the same show it used to be, but even today some episodes are pretty funny. :)
The Simpsons would win anytime, anywhere. Just pick out one random episode and it would win, based on comedy, story and graphics! (yes, I had to put that in, since this is a site about games in general)
I have watched 'the best of Family Guy' and am not impressed. It didn't even force a smile on my face... Futurama did, but those were rare moments.
The simpsons got less funny every season, Family Guy would be the funniest if they didn't bring it back with those crappy episodes which brought down its overall funny level by alot, Futurama was consistent and every episode was hillarious, so I'll go with Futurama
I always wonder how the family guy creators think, "hey! lets make Peter and Stewie attack Lois and dump her on a river while laughing non-stop for a whole minute, thats should be funny"
Anyways, i choose The Simpsons, last time i watched Futurama i was 10 years old :/
