Where do you think he will go?

I personally hope he throws everyone for a loop and announces something like this.

They already reported on BSPN today that all sources are saying that he's going to the Heat so it's not much of a mystery now.

It looks like he's headed for Miami. But I'd rather he go anywhere but there, just to make the Eastern Conference a little fair.

Well when all's said and done and he's done milking the **** out of the media who, despite their raving and 'sources' don't know what the hell they're talking about, I would wager: 1. Knicks 2. Bulls 3. He stays Not that I know anymore about this than ESPN does.

Cavs, because if he goes to Miami, it shows that he's not good enough to win a championship without superstars.

If he leaves the Cavs and goes to the heat he should never be considered the best player of all time. Bottom Line...

I don't really agree with this line of thinking. Even Jordan needed Pippen. There are a few exceptions, but one superstar isn't really enough to win a championship in the NBA.

That's the one thing that will be interesting. Chances are the Heat are going to lack a lot of depth, so how much are they going to suffer from that?

I'm glad it'll be over. I'm sick of free agency stories being bigger than the World Cup. what sucks about it being that way is the fact that if it wasn't for the free agency talk the World Cup would be the biggest story in American Sports. I think he'll sign with the heat though.

What are all 3 going to play 40+ min EVERY game What if one gets hurt. They would need to all take way less than max $ to be able to sign anyone else worth a damn The do not even have a real shooter on the team Chicago is stacked with talent

I think it's really stupid for him to go to Miami. The team won't be "his" like the Cavaliers were, he's leaving $30 million on the table, and it's still not even guaranteed that they will win a championship. Most people think that Miami will still be Wade's team, so Lebron will be the second in command, which doesn't fit his ego/style. It will be harder to market him solely by himself, and he will be grouped as one of the "big three." Also, he will be viewed as sort of a sell-out, because of him leaving "his" team (Cavaliers) to join a stacked team just so he can get a ring or 2.

I think he should go either to Chicago or New York. Chicago has Boozer now, as well as Rose, and Noah, so they have a pretty good team already. If Lebron was to go there, the Bulls would most likely become "his" team and he would be loved in Chicago. He would have the opportunity to repeat Jordan's legacy, and be thought of as almost the 2nd coming of him. Unlike in Miami, if they didn't win a championship right away, people wouldn't get their panties in a bunch right away because the team isn't necessarily "stacked", it just has Lebron and some really solid players.

Going to New York would make him one of the biggest stars in one of the biggest cities in the world. He would be the face of the New York Knicks, and now that they signed Stoudemire, he wouldn't have to win a championship alone like he pretty much tried to do in Cleveland. I don't know if they would be able to re-sign David Lee too, but if so, they would a chance to be a top contender in the East. Look at how big sports stars like Jeter and A-Rod are in New York. Lebron would probably surpass them in terms of popularity in the city. If he could manage to win a championship in New York, he would be a part of Knicks history since they haven't won in so long.

Yeah, especially with Wade's injury problems - these three are going to have to be in the best shape of their lives. And as for a shooter, Chicago doesn't have a real shooter on the team either. The Knicks on the other hand have my boy Danilo Gallinari...just throwing that out there :P

First off, I'm a Bulls fan. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd be happy if he went to the Knicks or stayed in Cleveland (though obviously I'd be even more happy if he went to the Bulls). If he was a Cavalier or Knick, I think the Bulls would still be able to compete -- but since it looks like he's going to Miami, the Heat are going to be on a warpath.

He'll go to Miami, then demand a trade after he realizes:

  • Miami is Wade's town. James wants to be a Jordan, but he'll be a Pippen in Miami.
  • Outside of the Big 3, the team will have nothing.
  • Chris Bosh isn't that great. 7 years in the pros, and he's only made one All-NBA 2nd team.

He's stupid if he does go to the Heat. He can get more money, better marketing, and still win championships if he goes to the Bulls or Knicks. Going too the Heat will turn him from "The King" into "Second in Command under Wade." It's not like it's guaranteed they will win a championship if he goes to the Heat.

Yeah that too. Plus like someone said above me, Bosh isn't that great. He's a good solid player, but people are putting him on the same level as Lebron and Wade.

With the Heat it will be like playing 3 on 12 every night...for 82 games + the playoffs I would take those 3 in a 1 game situation any day. BUT not over 100 games.

Rose, Noah, Boozer, Taj Gibson, Luol Deng....the Bulls have a VERY solid team as it is. They'll probably be a 4 or 5 seed without LeBron.

True.

I wanted Bosh in Miami (Wade's my favorite player in the NBA so naturally I want him to have the support he deserves), but not so much Lebron.
As exciting to watch as the three together would be, I'd rather him be with Amare or Derrick Rose. Both teams have a lot going for them and he works better there.

I'm starting to think he's leaving Cleveland for sure though, 'cause a big one hour special only to say he's not going anywhere kinda seems underwhelming.

Lebron, Rose, and Boozer are you serious? Then the support is very solid. And hell, making the playoffs is a GOOD thing even if you are ousted in the first round. Add Lebron who could get you over .500 damn there single-handedly and Carlos Boozer, I'd have already made my decision if I was him.

[QUOTE="rawsavon"] Have you not seen the Bull's roster :?SmittyPeppers

If there roster was that good they wouldnt have gotten knocked out in the first round in the playoffs

First of all Rose isnt that good and Boozer isnt gonna help out a lot.If Lebron goes to the Bulls hes not gonna win a championship. They cant win against the Lakers and Celtics

Yeah, they made the playoffs without Boozer and Lebron. If they got Lebron, their core of Rose, Boozer, Noah, and Lebron would be very competitive.
