Singled Out

Well I'm about to leave GameSpot, pretty sad I voted for them in the Webby Awards. Had I known they single people out when it comes to deleting their posts. I had almost all my posts on one topic deleted, for what reason, not sure. I guess they're too afraid to say. Although another nerdy kid and I were getting into it because he misinterpreted what I was saying. Apparently the dip**** kids are aloud to say whatever they want. Pretty ridiculous and irritating that my posts get deleted, however inappropriate or off-topic they may have been, yet all of his remain, when none of them are on topic? I guess I didn't realize what used to be such an amazing site could be so full of useless admins.

This is true...but doesn't stop the fact that this BS comes from a site like this.

And you're complaining about posts on shared boards moderated by GameFAQs mods... things we have no control over, where "did you report them?" rings about a thousand times more true than it does here, because if it's not reported there, the mods WON'T see it.MAILER_DAEMON

I did report it, every single post. Not a single action was taken on theirs. Apparently I'm not allowed to be off topic, but they are.

Hey thanks everyone though, for being so quick and responsive. That's greatly appreciated. Atleast I know some other people around here listen, may not agree with me, understandable, you're all entitled to your opinons. I don't expect too many to have the nerve to speak against Game Spot on here in fear of losing their accounts. But again, I appreciate the quick informative resonses.

GameFAQ's have never really like GS, for whatever reasons. But you can only be reported for what you post on either GF or GS, not both

Bit of advice: stay away from the game-specific boards. GS users are treated like 2nd cIass citizens by most posters over there.

If you're tlking about GameFAQS then I completely agree. That's happened to me a couple of times. This one time someone posted something insulting, can't remember what it was, but I said something like, "well, I could just say the same thing to you." I got reported and modded for it, so I asked someone why and a mod told me I shouldn't have responded at all and should've reported him. So I go back and report everything offenseive he said to me, which was more than just one post, and none of his posts got deleted. Over at GameFAQS it's whoever reports first gets catered to, anyone else is SOL, which makes me especially angry because I don't believe in reporting every single time someone saysy something you don't like. But like Mailer and others have said, GameFAQS=/=Gamespot.

Here you goEddie5vs1. Obviously it doesn't just happen to me. I agree with you about MODS and Admins, but ^ situation is exactly the same as mine. Pretty much the same wrongful comments were posted between both of us, yet I got hit for it and they don't. BUT now that I fully understand the territories I withdrawl my original complaint. I apologize but also thank everyone, especially the MODS who were in here for atleast putting up with my whining so you could make your point and explain what was happening. And I think I'll follow your advice, no more GameFAQ's, I'll stick with GS. Thanks again ladies/gent's. I really appreciate it.
