Aiming for pedestrians gets you extra points and flipping off old people gets you extra time.

Pay attention to all signs.  Don't run yellow lights.  Look both ways before making turns.  Keep your speed exactly at the limit.  Don't let the instructor make you nervous.  Try to imagine he's not there.

Give the instructor a nasty look every time he takes off a point. Oh, and if you think they way he marked it was unfair, complain. It worked for my friend. That instructor was a complete Donkey.

My driving insrtuctor was cool. He bought me coffee twice and we had great fun yelling at kids walking.

Tell him that you've been practicing on need for speed and you think that you have it down, you just want to know which side of the road to drive on.

Take a shot before you go.

Seriously, I did it and I was so relaxed when I was learning to fly.

Just kidding.  But seriously, relax.

Really, just make sure you dont blow a stop sign or go up a curb. Mine was not too bad except I had to do mine in a city rather than out by me because there were no opens for the rest of the summer, so it was pretty bad driving in the city since I am used to driving out in the country by me, but I only got like 7 points off. I think 3 were for not turning out in the immediate lane...I made a wide turn. And another was I was going more than 5 mph in the parking lot coming back. But the thing was there was a driveway about a quater mile long coming in, so I assumed 10-15mph was ok...oh well. Anyways, good luck!

Good advice for the most part, if i imagined there was no one with me i would speed. I passed my first time taking the test, only thing he said after we finished he said scan intersections before you cross them instead of going straight through.

when facing the sun, look directly at it so you get a better view of the road.
