Yes siree, Blank decks really are the way to go. the only graphic deck i ever had was a zero team deck (donated by a friend) and it was mediocre at best.
I know everyone says it but you really only paying for the graphic.
Flip have some nice looking decks thoughÂ

......ok just talkin deck here. buy that stuff all seperate. i roll venture trucks. not bad. independant are good. they got a life time warrenty on em. so if they break you can send em in and get a new set. for wheels. i roll em big. way bigger than most. which is nice of you got rough ground or skate ramps a lot. otherwise i they just add weight and a bit of bulk. but i like em. spitfire classics 60mm. bearings: if you can. id find those at a specialty store. or a hardware store. youll get em way way way way cheaper. and they roll faster and are a ton stronger. i currently have bones swiss 6ball. you cant go wrong with those....ever. blacktop grip tape. or jessup is always tight. please please please. if you take yourself seriously as a skater. never let anyone grip the board for you. gotta learn to do that yourself.
test the waters man. once you skate enough you find out what works for you. then it doesnt matterblackacidevil96thanks man i will
Yeah the reason i asked about the completes was to warn against them.
Destructos (not sure about spelling) are decent and reasonably priced. My friend once gave me some GMs and the kingpin was like 5mm higher than the axle bit you grind on and I had to attack it with an angle grinder.
Another thing to remember is it also comes down to your personal preferences, what you think is perfect is S--tty to the next person. That and how much money you are willing to spend.
