I know most of you skip school one time in your life. What did you do when you skip school?

I only "skipped" school a couple of times and that was to see LOTR (The first two) and I technically wasn't skipping as the school was informed that I wasn't coming in. Now as for college, I skipped class all the time.

Haven't done it. Unless doing a 'sickie' counts - in which case I only stayed at home anyway. >__>

Once in my life? Probably closer to once a week. My school wasn't exactly strict. :P

Yeah in college I would skip class at least once per week. It's allowed though in college.

Usually to catch a movie or do something else with friends that we wouldn't have the time to do usually.

On a side note last night I stayed up to the late hours and missed a class mainly this forum's addictiveness. I'm not doing that again.

Man I've skipped school many, many times. I lived by myself for 4 months when I was in grade 12, so I slept in quite a bit maybe once a week, now in College I must have skipped a class or two almost everyday.

Reminds me of the people who came back to the Sixth Form at the start of the year - by their personal choice - and then bunked off most lessons, only to get kicked out... Ridiculous.

Never skipped high school. College is a different story now though. I skipped a lot of lessons a week at the beginnig of the school year, and learned the hard way shortly after. But yeah. I usually went to my best friend's house to play games.

I had a class in college that I only showed up to 5 times (quarterly system) and in those 5 times I never stayed for more than a half-hour. I got 100% in the class.

I cant stand the development and globalization module, its less complicated than GCSE economics. It therefore gets missed a fair bit.

It was a studies class so attendance really didn't have anything to do with anything. There was no learning in the course. You just do work for other classes.

Well Uni/College is all about writing exams (most programs), you can literally not ever go to class, cram for you finals and midterm and pass the course.

Skipped class twice recently. The first time was because I had a project due in a class and I didn't do it. The other time was when the teacher was absent, so I decided to go get lunch with my friends.

Meh not really but I guess you might say. This one time there was a 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM trip to South Carolina, waking up 45 minutes early was bad but South Carolina is like 3 hours each way and the trip didn't seem that intresting in the first place then if those 2 reasons weren't enough the trip was $50 + paying for your own food and the trip was like the last week of school on a friday (the end of school was Friday the next week).

I've only "skipped" school a few times...and I always had parental permission. I would just talk my mom into letting me stay home or something. I've only ever skipped one class before as well. I didn't get caught. I just hung out in the library with my friend. We skipped band. I'm not very wild.

I skipped so many times. My grades never suffered though as I kept up on work and studying. It's just one of those things I completely disagree with. Attendance is totally irrelevant in most aspects of life; just an arbitrary assertion of power. I would just stay home, go visit friends, go to work, or just play games.

I've only really skipped school only once and it was this year.

I went to the beach with some friends. It was all college kids at the beach since it was their spring break but it was pretty fun. I hate make up work though.

I missed 60 days my freshman year of high school :? mostly surgeries and stuff. Every year after that I'd miss 10 - 20 and I'd usually just sit home and sleep off a hangover.

I skipped a lot as a freshman in high school. In grade 9 I think I skipped like 1/3rd of the school year still passed every grade though, people were amazed and pi$$ed that I actually pulled it off :) In grade 10 that was a different story I fell behind and now I'm in a semestered program for skippers :P There's only about 20 people there who re also like me and I like that place. I haven't skipped once hope I can keep that up!

I've pulled a sick day, but never actually skipped. My school calls home for everything, even if you're five minutes late to class. So I've never had the guts to skip skip, my mom would flip. The last time I was "sick" was last monday/tuesday.
