I caN't sleep because of summer. I got used to sleeping at 5:00 and wake up at 13:00..I doN't like this. Right now it's 1.30 in here and I got into bed at an hour ago. But no I couldN't sleep so I decided to ask the wise gamespot members here.

What would make me sleepy? What is the best way to get a good sleep?

DoN't say masturbation I worked out I need what I have.

And no more milk, I drank enough today.

PS:LOL I'm actually concerned about growth hormones because these hormones work(best) between 11:00-3:00

Gradually change the time you go to sleep (so next time you would go to bed at 4:00 and wake up at 12:00, next time from 3:00-11:00 and so on...) and in about a week you should feel much better. ~ de arimasu

Go run around like a maniac and you'll get worn out. A couple days ago I had to hang out with my cousins all night and they're like 10 years old and when I got home I was pretty much asleep before my head hit the pillow.

I spend most of my time sitting motionless in a chair moving my thumbs around as I play Xbox for hours or moving my arm back and forth browsing Gamespot though so I tend to have bad insomnia.

I can switch my day around pretty fast, but it would probably take me at least 3 days to turn my bed time from 5am to midnight.

Isn't that for allergies?

Seriously, my advice to you is work out. I face the same problem everyday. Counting sheep and taking drugs just doesn't cut it for me (I refuse to take any drugs). But what you need to do is break some sweat. Run around, puch-ups, sit-ups, or anything that will make you tired after a while works fine.

Bednadryl, Nyquil, etc.

I used to have the same problem so I would take one or the other whenever I needed to switch my sleeping pattern. Works (for me) in one night but man, it is rough the next day. Just battle through it and you can get back on the schedule you want the night after.

basically, dont worry about what time you will fall asleep tonight, instead, just let yourself sleep late tonight and wake up early tomorrow, then by the end of the day you should be very tired and fall asleep easily. Its only a last resort though.

(oh and be careful with your wording, some people are getting the wrong idea with the milk thing)

There is only one solution: you have to wake up earlier. Period.

Yes, but it can be taken for other things...like going to sleep. A pill or two and half an hour later...you're asleep. The TC already mentioned that he worked out...

waking up early is a good idea but I worked out well today...so I believe I need a good sleep. But I'll do it tomorrow...that should work. Either way the school will start next week so I'll have to get up early all the time soon.

Excuse my ignorance concerning the drug, but I don't think the TC said anything about working out. If he would have had the real thing then one would categorize it as a 'working out' activity, but what he did doesn't break a sweat.

^ I stand corrected. I re-read it and it turns out he did work out. The only solution is to wake up early. Good luck with that TC.

Dang you stay up late.

I usually go to bed around 12am in summer, and wake up around 8am.

Usually, thinking helps me go to sleep.

Wouldn't that be actually pretty early? I mean, he goes to sleep a little bit before the sun comes up. ~ de arimasu :P
