Here it is. A small group stood in front of the Cathedral while a huge mob of feminists demanding that abortion be legalized (this is in argentina) swarmed around them.JoeRatz16
As long as they didn't resort to violence, then good for the feminists.

ah but they did. They hurled stuff at the Cathedral and the people protecting it. If you watch the tape they seem like loonies.[QUOTE="Junkie_man"][QUOTE="JoeRatz16"]Here it is. oh and I can't understand why they are protesting at a church.. I'm pretty sure the church isn't the gov't just throwing that out there. Why no go to the capitol building or somethingferrari2001
i'm guessing that it's a catholic country so there are bishops within the goverment or something. It'll also have more impact there as it's the religon that's restricting the womens rights and the goverment is just enforcing public opinion.

No there aren't bishops within the Gov't That hasn't been a problem since the middle Ages when kings screwed up the churches hirearchy, And again still no point to protest at a church. If you wanted to protest the church to change their stance on Abortion you'll have to Go see God in heaven for that one.
well they were angry, it's perfectly normal
markop2003
That doesn't give them any right to deface property and harm other people.
[QUOTE="jointed"]Wow, those catholics are creepy. Go go femenists.ferrari2001
go go ignorance! woooo
 explain how this has got anything to do with ignorance.
Sorry but butthurting is no excuse for pulling words you hardly understand out of your arse.

there arn't bishops in the goverment but according to the constitution they have to hold catholic values
"According to the Constitution, the Argentine government should support Roman Catholicism; this, however, does not imply that it is the official religion of the Argentine Republic, nor does it imply that people working in the government should have this faith. Popular opinion, furthermore, opposes the Catholic Church's status as the sole recipient of public subsidies; only one in three supports the policy (though the majority approve of state subsidies for religious social and charitable work, for the maintenance of buildings and for the inclusion of religious studies in schools).[98]"

It dosn't give them the right but it's understandable, i'm sure the catholics would do the same if they were forced to abort their children

I absolutely agree with this.

No, it's not. Resorting to violence is immature and unnecessary. I'm sure Catholics would do the same and it would still be unnecessary.

that doesn't mean bishops are actually in the gov't cause there not, the gov't just has to see Catholic values, And looking like total idiots at a church won't help their Cause, if they want the Catholic church to change it's views on Abortion they've got the see the Big man Himself (no no the Pope) God.

Almost all Feminists are Catholic Also.. Talk about me being uninformed, Argentina is 78% Roman Catholic, And How are catholics Creepy, They don't look much different than 90% of the people I see everyday. The share the same beliefs as 1.1 billion others and they are trying to protect private property. Your statement was either ignorant, or simple put out there sarcastically to troll.
i didn't say it was nesessary i said it was understandable...

uderstandable doesn't mean that i support them or think they were right, it just means that i can see why the did what they did and it makes sense, that's it

Again, this has got absolutely NOTHING to do with ignorance...you're just pullings things out your arse.
Did you see the video? The cathies just stood there chanting ridiculous things whilst the femenists yelled at them. You can compare it to ghandi methods all you want, but it'll still qualifies as "creepy" in my book because well...it is.
And my post was semi-comical...there's no need for you to be this butthurt about it ;)

ridiculous things... I think they were chanting the Hail Mary.First off, you could tell some of the catholics holding the line didn't want to be there... That lesbian b**** you first see yelling in that guy's face and then trying to get his picture when he holds his head down, well she's some kind of 'leader' and I'd have beat her half gone, screw the rules. I bet they started doing that, all that useless yelling would stop.
Outside of that, feminists going for abortion?! WTF is that kind of messed up trash is that? It's like saying "Oh, I'm a die-hard lesbian, never getting married, never having kids *spits on the world*", then banging some guy on a good night when the real die-hard inner feelings take control, finding out she's preggers which can't possibly happen, so she gets a homemade abortion done or whatever...all the while still claiming to be die-hard.
