Oh God, will poor Allison Mack be signed on? If not, I probably won't even watch it for the lulz as I have been. If she has been signed on, though, I may feel compelled to go to Vancouver and rescue her from the slo-mo train wreck that is Smallville

One of my favorite shows. But I have been saying for over a year that they should go for 10, then end it. It's getting stale. They should use 10 as a wrap up season. Thank God there will still be Supernatural! :)

It's less painful now than in the first season, when he was like 23 or 24 and supposed to be playing a high school freshman :P

I don't see any news of Smallville being renewed on the link you provided SLAMMIN. I like Smallville but it seriously needs to end or just become an adult Superman series already.

Well, he turned 20 near the end of the 5th season I think, which will put it at four seasons of early twenties Clark at the end of this season.

Its not about Clark in HS anymore, that ended in the 4th season. If they bring about the Justice League properly, it won't be too bad, It's still better than all that reality TV garbage.

Oh, darn! How could I not think to share this info with my fellow Smallville fans?!? I just had to re-download the Warner. Bros. Digital Copy Manager, on my new drive, and when I did, there was an offer for a free digital copy of the first episode of Smallville. I finsihed downloading it last night (but I am looking for some missing codec today). In case anyone here would like a free copy of the pilot episode...

YES! Ive been watching this since 2001 when I was in junior high. Though, the beginning of the current season (season 9) was good, the second half I have to admit is a bit laughable right now:| . Its a roller coaster ride but I enjoy it. Also, they hint Lex might make a return and Lana, I truly hope she does (Kristin Kreuk:oops: ), 10years of SV!

I believe that ended in the 4th season (4years of HS). It has gone "adult" since then. Some seasons good, some bad. Overall, ok. Its a up and down type of show.

I haven't watched this for a couple years now.. I can't imagine how they still have new storylines, he kinda has to become an adult one day.. Maybe they're just waiting for Tom Welling to look old enough to play superman, then they'll just phase him into that.

If i remember correctly they hinted Lex was actually still alive. Im sure he will be back in season 10.

well from day one, it wasnt to follow page from page of the comics. Besides, Lex will most likely return given hes not dead in the show (as they hinted) and the dude that played him might return since SV ratings are back up.

Lex I'll agree with you. But Lana? Dear god, they did anything and everything to keep her shoved down our throats. She became one of the most inconsistent character I've ever seen. I was so glad when she finally left for good.

haha ,Yeah she had her roller-coasters of character changes. I think a perfect ending to the series would be her dying and Clark, sad, broken but stronger from the experience, wearing the proper uni, flying off into the sky (after some form of revenge or final inconclusive show down with lex). .. I guess thats my problem with smallville. I honestly loved the show for a long time. It just came to a point where it feels like its never going to end, like these characters will never become what they are meant to be but will always be set in this messed up homeostasis **** they are in right now...

unlike all u people i dont give up on tv shows that i watch for years i stay with it till the end and its still a excellent show and its easily worth watching still u people give up on shows to easily why bother watching smallville if u watch 4 or 5 seasons worth and just stop watching it that doesnt make sense

while the last few years have been pretty mediocre...this season (outside the last two epis which have sucked) has actually been really good....I'd like htem to use season 10 to get everything wrapped up and have him being superman and then either create a new series...(ie him being superman and being a grown-up) or jsut be completely done with it.....and yes...Rosenbaum needs to be back...
