I had both of mine pierced for about two years, but I ended up taking them out. No real reason, just got tired of it.

The pain? Well, it hurts a lot, obviously. But if you go in expecting that it's going to hurt like hell, then you'll know exactly what you're in for and you can be prepared mentally. The adrenaline rush will carry you through it though, and it's an awful lot of fun. So just toughen up a bit, DO NOT forget to breathe slowly and calmly, sit back and just enjoy the ride. :D

Other than that, I have only one piece of advice: I don't know what you're planning, but you should absolutely only get BARBELLS and NOT rings. Rings snag on things all the time, they're harder to clean, and they take longer to heal. And they don't look that good on most people. Truth be told, if I'd have gotten barbells instead of rings, I'd probably still have my piercings right now.

I wouldn't have it done on myself, but if you're worried about the "pain" then suck it up, there's worse than having a needle punched through some skin.

i never do that. why would i anyway? Piercing in my opinion don't belong on guys make them looks fruity.

and i hate tattoos.

I dunno, getting my lip done was pretty cool - having that adrenaline rush and feeling weird after.

Getting my tummy done was pretty tame cause they sprayed it with freeze stuff.

I'd like to get more piercings but I don't think they'd suit me so I'm drafting versions of a tattoo I've seen online to go on my hip :)

Odd, indeed. I'm afraid when I wake up in the morning, and make myself some coffee, I don't necessarily find myself wanting to put a hole through my lip so I can hang something there, ring or what not, so some young chap can see it and do the bastardly mistake of pulling on it thinking it's some puppet device. Twas' not something I would think of being an "enjoyable" activity to do. But, as always, to each his or her own. I get my "rush" every morning when I open the front door to grab the Sacramento Bee newspaper and I get blasted by cold air. Damn cold.

Ah, so it's a "target" then, of course -- the center spot or bulleye. Now that's interesting, indeed. I completely agree with you. Snowboarding sure isn't safe, hence why I said reading about snowboarding would be the "safer alternative" so to speak. Yes, living is the best -- totally beats the heck out of the Sims, though I do wish I could CTRL + SHFT + C and give me some moneyz. That's be nice, indeed.

I don't understand how people could say those nipple and tongue piercing looks good.. infact the only type of piercing I can deal with is ears.. in the normal spot not this thing where it's all over the place top to bottom on the ear.
