So Apparently I won a 2010 Cadillac CTS *Update*

But I can't help but feel its a scam or a joke.
Im going to go down to the place tommorow to "claim my prize" I checked out all the fine print and I didn't see anything but...

Well no car but I did land one of the other prizes a 250 dollar walmart giftcard so all is not lost. It definitely wasn't gimmick though the caddy was right in the showroom. You brought in your envelope with your winning number and if it matched one of the prizes you got it. They also had an Ipad 10000 in cash and a Flatscreen. And varying sums of walmart gift cards. Better then nothing.

Usually it just means you can try that key attached to the form in the car and if it works, you win the car. They never work.

The instructions on this ticket are not great...first it says reveal all 9 squares, and then it says scratch off 3. Where are you supposed to claim your prize? Is it a car dealership? Amnesiac23

We get these things all the time, scratchcards that always win, what they don't tell you if the phonecalls cost £5 a minute and there are Terms adn Conditions which basically say even though it states that i have won £10,000 what they in fact mean i can redeem a cheque for £2.50 if i stay on the line for 15 minutes and give my details and email address which will get spammed to high heaven, then they send out the cheque. So basically just watch out, if they ask for credit card details and addresses then tell them you want to see the car first or atleast prooft that you won it such as a legitimate document.

I'm not sure. You're pretty much going to pay sales tax on the MSRP of the car. I THINK it might be next time your income tax comes around, but don't quote me on it.
