I absolutely hate GameSpot reviews. Most of them aren't very well written, but then again most gaming journalism is not. Greg Kasavin was a great reviewer, though, and I was sad to see him go. I think Alex Navarro does a pretty decent job at reviewing, too.
As for the rest of the site, the forums are pretty good, although some could stand with more activity (which is more the users' fault than anything else.) The profiles are also decent enough. Nothing exceptional, but they aren't bad, either.
There are good things and bad things about this place. Honestly I'm here simply because I got banned on G4TV's forums, which I hear have fallen into the crapper as well. I like it here, the community is good, but holy **** GS needs to lighten up on the moderation and you posters need to quit getting so offended so easily and reporting people just so you can get points, that's totally lame.
I've been suspended way too many times to like this place, actually...this is my first post on these forums for around 6 months. I see it still lacks...flavor.
