Which one are you currently using?:D

Windows for games and everything else, Macbook for school and everything but games.
Right this moment I'm using Windows.
PC is good for gaming and MAC is good for pretty much everything else. Plus Windows is a horrible operating system. Security is awful. I would rather have a Dell laptop with Ubuntu.
I like gaming, I like building my own PCs, I like being able to upgrade any component with new components where various manufacturers compete, and I like getting bang for my buck. 'nuff said.Engrish_MajorI have similar reasons. I built my computer.
Congrats. It's a little tedious but lots of fun. Especially when you turn it on for the first time and it works.I have a PC, built my first one earlier this year. :D

Let's see here...
PC you can custom build (that's what I've done for my desktop) or buy for significantly cheaper than an equivalent Mac, it comes with a better OS (Windows 7), and it has significantly more gaming opportunities.
I wonder...
[QUOTE="-Shooter-"]Congrats. It's a little tedious but lots of fun. Especially when you turn it on for the first time and it works. Yeah, but I failed many times, and it cost me some money. But it was worth it, experiencing and learning about the different parts and all.I have a PC, built my first one earlier this year. :D

I use Linux for everything except gaming. It's customizable, stable, free, fast, secure, and it stays the f*** out of my way. Windows for gaming, though I really hate it.savebatteryI like Linux alot, too. But I'd go windows all the way, just because most things I do are ten times easier on windows and usually installl no problems. Don't get me wrong, I can get most anything to work on Linux, but when it comes to ease and efficiency, definitely windows.
PC dual booted with Ubuntu, so you can use Windows for Gaming/other Applications that run only on Windows, and Ubuntu for everything else.
Seriously, Ubuntu is awesome. I never believed the hype or people saying how good it was, because I thought it was just going to be a hassle, but I decided to download it a couple weeks ago (Running it through Wubi, not an actual Hard Drive Partition, and I'm running the latest version, 11.04). Honestly, so far, it isn't hard at all to manage. If you've worked with the Command function even a bit on Windows, you won't have too hard of the time using Terminal on Linux (even though they're completely different, at least you'll have a little bit of understanding on how everything works). It's a fast OS and has very nice applications. It's actually pretty fun messing with some of the plugins and customizing it to your liking.
I use both. The desktop that I built is running Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) and I have a 13" Macbook Pro with OS X Lion (10.7).
I use the Macbook for photo editing in Photoshop on the go.
The desktop I use for occasional gaming, and video editing/motion graphics/animations in Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects.
