So how exactly do I become a police officer?

You sign up at a Police Academy, you must have completed high school at the least. Also these days unlike in the past you are far more likely to be hired, if you have gone to some form of criminal justice program. You're still going to have to goto the academy though.

Last but not least you must have a lisence! I would however not try to become a Police Officer before having some kind of job shadow, for that just goto the local station and ask.

Being a Police officer is not some glorifed shoot em up heroes life, its not fun to walk in on a smelling body twice a week, that happens often to all police officers.

You're not going to be in some wonderfull criminal catching fantasy life, just know that first. :D

Id suggest getting yourself arrested... make sure you leave a good first impression with all the officers you meet on your little excursion and they may put in a good word for you ;)

yeah make sure to get in lots of practice on little kids... god I wish I had a tazer it would solve alot of problems... the neighbours cat.... that annoying james.... dogs that bark at me.... yup it'd solve lots of problems

its not jsut a test u have to go to their academy which is like 3 months i believe

You need to audition to be a cop. Walk up to one on the street, turn your nose up like a pig's snout, and shout "OINK OINK OINK!!!" Then ask the nice policeman if he thinks you've got what it takes.

Thanks for your help :) Yeah i know i still have to do things like get my liecence, and i understand that being a police officer would be hard and i know i would encounter things like bodys, but i would just stick through it and learn to live in a cops life like that.

But to spice it up bring your BB Gun and walk in pointing it at everyone. Then start yelling "I have a few questions, I would like them answered immediately. Who's going to help me?!?"
