It's 4 in the morning and I can't sleep. It's like this almost every night. I can NEVER sleep. It's really annoying. Do you know of anything I can do to get me to sleep better?SceneAesthetic

You do realize that short of a sleep disorder, the best thing to do is just relax, try to turn your mind off, adjust your comfort level (i.e., temperature, position, ect.) and GO TO BED. If you are up posting about how tired you are, you won't fall asleep.

Duh, I did all that stuff. I tried. But I can't. You must think I'm braindead.Not at all. I often fall prey to getting up and doing stuff because I can't fall asleep. Then two hours later I always kick myself (methaphorically speaking) for not staying in bed. Right now I should be in bed, but I ate some damned greasy chips late at night and am afraid of heartburn (I get acid reflux real bad @ night sometimes), and also I watched King of Kong ...

No. We all live in the same country. In fact, some of us are even located down your street.
in be 4 masturbation,..but seriously stay away from the monitor if you ask me,get yourself tired or try reading a book,anti histamines also help you get sleepy
Get some sleeping pills and take it a hour before you want to go to bed every night. To fix your schedule you need to sleep for like 4-5 hours and stay up till about 8pm then fall asleep and wake up around 5-6ish and your schedule should fix itself from there.
