You also listed 7 other large companies that have assumingly equal shares in Blu-Ray so Sony certainly can't decide its fate.

thats all you been doing here man, assuming. where is the proof that MS has this BR player ready to launch in the near future or if at all ? i dont think the "founders" are very pleased with the fact that MS chose HDDVD in the first place, but im sure they wont mind raking in the money from the add-on ;) but we still have no hardcore evidence that its coming at all.
and you trying to convince him to not get the ps3 wwas funny to say the least, even going so far as to tell him to get a wii and a 360 again which he stated he already had beforehand:lol:
