I dont know why but Ive always found beetles...cute. I hate spiders and stuff but beetles are just cool

Those are pretty cool. I once found some of the grubs and made a topic about how they poop out sawdust.

Anyway, those beetles are harmless and actually sort of funny. When you bother them, they start squealing and flailing around just like ED-209 after falling down a flight of stairs.

My favourite beetles are click beetles. Those things are just ASKING for you to mess with them.

You should take your pictures with a ruler next to the insect instead of your finger. It's a much better measurement device. Ghost_702

I once had a giant ichneumon wasp for my bug collection, along with an imperial moth.ayanami_rei

i had to look up the wasp because i had never heard of it before. Its beautiful, but kinda creepy to see one drill into wood.
