so i just watched g.i. joe: the rise of cobra

i've was never into the g.i. joe stuff, but i decided to watch the movie for the sake of watching a dumb action movie. for me, suprisingly, it turned out better than transformers: revenge of the fallen. at least the actions scenes were not as bad as in t: rotf, and the plot, though still quite average, is more tolerable than t: rotf. this considering i was actually hyped up for t: rotf, because i absolutely liked transformers, but it turned out to be a dissapointment, i hated the shaky camera, explosions all over the place, and megan fox is actually a minus for me, she's too overrated. i would recommend g.i. joe if you're in the mood for a mindless action movie.

I seen a clip for this the other day and it made me look forward to GI Joe.

I was looking forward to watching the new Transformers film but after reading your post am not looking forward to it as much as i was.

Ya same here! this movie is amazing! my movie of the year hands down!!! way way way better than transformers!!! and other movies.. haven't seen star trek though.. i'm so glad this movie is worth watching.

he's sort of the team leader in the movie, and somehow he sounds and act like prophet from crysis, which is one of the best characters in that game.

i was suprised, he did good. when i 1st heard of him casted in this movie, i was like, wth, but he did good, not great, but good. he add's some personality to the ripcord character, he's much better than lame channing tattum. imo, he, sienna miller, cobra commander, destro did good.

I don't think he's the lead, but I know he's in a more major role. And yes, he is very very badass. But I'm afraid that everytime I'll see him on screen I'll hear the music from the"Go Go Adebisi" video.

i agree with the TC. it's so much better than Transformers. and Sienna Miller alone is worth the ticket price... she's hands down the hottest thing in this summer.

quite good, maybe the best even. he played a rather convincing villain.

yeah, she's hot, though almost as overrated as megan fox, but at least she can act quite decently. i listed her performance as one of the good ones a few posts above.
