Welp, back into your mom then... Off you go. On the reals for reals though, it's not hard. Find the building for records that is usually in your city gov't square and fill out a simple form, have about $60 (it cost me like $25, but just in case I says), once they process your form, you have your B.C. It will take about 20 minutes total (depending on the line that is there).

You don't need a license to go to the movies... Go to the DMV and get an ID card.

Oh shoot, I missed that part. I forgot that that movie was in theaters. I, for some reason, assumed he just watched a movie at home or something and that he lost his B.C. What the hell are you doing taking your certificate of birth to the movies? That's pretty embarrassing if you ask me.

DMV issues state ID cards for like $30 bucks. That was a bad idea to use your BC, what if someone finds it? your social security number is on that... Identity theft dude... not worth losing an identity to a thief for a movie.

Look on your DMV website. It shouldn't be that hard to find out yourself.

Usually I would say use google and look it up, but I think the best option is go tell a responsible adult and let them handle it

The paperwork wasn't that bad when i had to replace mine, and it really didn't take too long. It's not hard, i just went down to the courthouse and fixed it up so that i got a new one when i lost mine.

Your movie theater actually enforces the 17 and older thing?

Since when?

I requested a new BC two years ago for my cruise in December, and I thought ( I could be wrong though) seeing my social number on that document.

I have never lost mine but I do not think it would be hard to get a new one.
