At first, I thought it would be cool and all to meet him, but I wasn't THAT excited. Well, that perspective on it changed drastically when I actually saw the man. The Fonz in the flesh. I have to admit, as soon as I saw him, I got pretty darned starstruck. One of those moments like, "That is Henry freaking Winkler." I must have shaken his hand three times in the span of a mere minute. For the record, he's one of the nicest guys ever. It um, it was pretty cool.

One, I know I could have blogged this but I never really blog and don't plan to start.
Two, I met him at the Fan Expo... in case you were wondering.
Three, I made a post out of it to ask the following...

Which celebrities have you met (assuming you've met some) and what were they like?

Sweet dude, you met the Fonz!

I've met a ton of people; athletes and musicians mostly though. *busts out list of famous people*

Dave Mustaine (when he gets to me he says "Hey buddy how ya doin?" The only time I've ever been starstruck. I couldn't thinnk of what to say back. People say hes a jerk, but he really is a man of the people.)

Shawn Drover (drummer for Megadeth. way cool, had a full conversation with him after the show, took pictures, etc.)

Glen Drover (lead guitar for Megadeth. Again, wicked nice to all the fans)

James LoMenzo (bass for Megadeth. Had my BLS shirt on and had a nice chat about that)

Mike Bordick (used to play for the Baltimore Orioles)

Matt Stairs (currently playing for the Toronto Blue Jays) he actually live right down the street from me)

Stephen King (went to his house on Halloween!)

And a bunch of Red Sox players in 2007, but I'll only give the highlights:

Jon Lester (just after coming back from cancer)

Hideki Okajima (WOW! This guy signed autographs for EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. I'm talking around 1000! It makes me feel good when I see players dedicated to the fans like that and he will forever have my respect, no matter how he plays.)

Jon Papelbon (nuff said.)

This last one, people might only understand who he is if they're a die hard fan but idk:

Johnny Peskey.

This guy played in the 1946 World Series and also served in WWII. I was just walking out of the training complex and saw him just sitting there on a bench. He saw me looking at him and said "Hey, come over here lemme sign your ball and get a picture!" (I take it back at that moment I was pretty starstruck as well lol.) I sat there and just shot the **** with him for a good 15 minutes, it was awesome in every sense of the word.

Henry Winkler is a hell of a dude. Incredibly nice person, at least he was to me.

Steve Buscemi is still probably the most awesome person i've met, though.

Henry Winkler was big into producing Paranormal-interest TV shows a few years ago, so that's pretty damn cool. His role in Night Shift was my favorite.
