I thought it was very good. It seemed like there was a connection with ET and how wall-e acts or something. I don't know. But I liked it. It was very clever with the spork in the beginning. And how he had to pull down the magnifying glass to see the ipod screen. Or how the startup sound is from the mac computers. I loved it all the way through. Or how EVE-A shoots the rock and WALL-E is hiding behind it. I thought it was a very cute movie. He wanted to hold hands with EVE-A. I thought it was very good.

There was no connection on ET. It was a clean up on Earth that failed so people lived on space, It shows you how not to be lazy.

Was I the only one who hated it then? I just couldn't stand the constant buzzing / whirring / electronic sounds. In some areas it was cute, but I didn't appreciate an hour with no real speech.

I loved it.
BUT
I felt it was a foreshadow of the events that will one day take place, killing us all.

I thought it was alright, but I've seen better from Pixar.

I didn't see it yet, but I want to. I wanted to wait to rent it on Blu Ray when I got a PS3. Well, I got it last Christmas, and I still haven't rented it yet. I kind of lost interest in the movie after none of my friends wanted to see it with me during the Summer. But to be honest, I find most of Pixar's films to be highly overrated, and I don't really know what sets them apart from other companies that produce well done movies.

Movie sucked.

Characters are bad.

Robots can't have emotions.

and the plot is terrible.

If I remember right there is a connection between Wall-E and ET, can't seem to find a source for it though. I think the guy that designed Wall-E was responsible for ET as well.

It's without a doubt among my top 3 movies from 2008. Pixar really has a gift when it comes to adding a lot of small, funny and clever scenes and details into their movies.
