ok so my teacher gave us an assigment in 8th grade....we where suppose to write a letter about our selves and turn the paper to the teacher. the teacher than locks it in a box, and we will get the letter back when we graduate.. the teacher promised us, no one will ever read the letter but u, the letter will never be opened by anyone else. so we can put anything in that letter, even curse words anything.. no ones gonna read it exept u after u graduate. so i was saving my money up ( i had 250 dollars).. i put it in the letter saying "HEY FUTURE ME, TAKE THIS MONEY!!!"... and i wrote other crap about myself etc. i put it in the envilope (spelling error i no), and turned it in... the teacher put all the letters in the box and put a lock on it. then gave the box to our principal. so, if i move away from that city, i can call the school and ask for my letter and they will send it to me. well, i am in 9th grade now... did i make a right decision to give my future self some $$$
Ehh Figi is right. I think it was a cool idea. Plus I bet all those people who said "You should've put it in a saving account" wouldn't have even have saved $250 at your age to begin with.

No, you're risking your own money and instead should've put it in somewhere safer. Who knows, someone could've broke into the box and get all the letters or something.
