So, i start work at a grocery store on sunday

10am to 2pm

any tips of bagging groceries? >_>

I know it seems silly but i'm afraid i might be too slow or do something stupid

I work part time at a grocery store, but I'm in dairy...

Bagging is easy though, and you get to see so many milfs.

put the stuff in the bags rather than outside of them?

apply for a promotion asap. I worked at a grocery store and I started bagging, but it sucked so I demanded a promotion and they gave me one and a raise. I moved into the back thats where the party is.LS07

well as soon as you can get into the back, it was fun back there, we played poker, had parties, and got payed $2 an hour more than the bagger

OMG that's what I do. Been doing it since the beginning of July. It's not really that bad. A lot of the managers at my store are really cool, especially when I used to close on Fri and Sat.

I hope I get promoted to GM soon.

It'll be fine for a few days, maybe a week or two. But after that, you will want to commit suicide in a way where somebody will have to clean up your remains. Kind of like your last revenge for working retail. Not to mention the dumbass customers flooding the store and killing any and all creative and imaginative thought you could possibly have with their complete and utter idiocy. Good luck!

If you have cool co-workers, the back would probably be an OK job. I am such a sarcastic person by nature, I sometimes like working up front because I get to treat customers like sh** if they act up or are stupid.

we steal alcohol and sprite, mix and drink in the cooler where there are no cameras. God, it's easy and fun...

yeah sarcasm is fun, but when I worked in the back we played games on the clock, like baseball, or harrass the people from customer service, or my personal favorite hide in the milk case and grab peoples arms as the reach for milk, ahh they could hear the screams in the bakery

Just bagging? I work at one and we do basically everything, even work in the meat department or sometimes the checkouts. Deliveries too. Everyone else looks like a bunch of lazy fatties compared to the stock people.
