So I was preached to last night on XBox Live....

Alright so last night I hop on to XBL and play some Halo 3 with my younger cousin and bro. We're having a grand ole time and we join a big team battle game and we destroyed the other team. So for those of you unfamiliar with Halo 3, you are able to party up with the players you just played with, and we decided to do so. As we were waiting for a new game to start, which ended up taking about 5 minutes, these two cats starting talking about God and the message of Jesus.

The first guy asked us who hasn't heard the message of Jesus Christ, my brother, cousin and I all say we haven't because we are not Christian (these 2 were though). So they guy goes on about how we should stop believing what we are told and must experience Jesus for ourselves. He tells us to read the Bible and commit to becoming one with God and such... I was sitting there wondering why they are preaching to us to a game where you kill random people that you don't know.

So, our first game starts up and the dude said, God has blessed me with these leadership skills to lead our team to victory. Then he said, Imagine the other team is telling you not to believe in God and we CAN"T listen to them.....

Yea so this whole time I'm Wondering why are they still talking.... So we win the first game and then go into another hearing some more things such as: Hopefully the seed we plant in your mind will sink down into your hearts and you can open your lives to God, God can truly save you if you commit to this relationship, and more things of that nature.

So the next game rolls around and this time we're getting murdered badly in the game, and they guy said HEY GOD WILL LEAD US TO VICTORY IF WE BELIEVE IN IT, DONT LOOK AT THE SCORE. Then he announces that we can sitll come back and win it when the score was 50-90, the game ends at 100, and my younger cousin said theres absolutely no way we can...

This is when these two guys go off on him saying that he doesn't believe in God and will go to hell and other nonsense. This got me really pissed and i just told them to F*** off. They insist on joining my games and spread the message even more. This morning I woke up and say 14 messages from these two just talking about random BS.

I know this is a long read but, haave you ever experinced anything like this? And what should I do? They keep joining our games and what not, doesn't matter what game I'm playing, thy find a way to ruin it...

I can't say I've been preached to before... =/ Insulted by 12 year olds who still think "Your mom" is still a valid comeback, sure... but never preached to.

Haha. That seems quite out of place on a Halo 3 game, but I think I may have played with those very same people - on GTA IV!

I remember just a week ago I was playing and two peeps started talking about Jesus and stuff. I'm not a Christer either, but I didn't cuss them out. Hopefully you won't have to deal with them anymore, but if I were you I'd just lie to them and say that you really do believe in Jesus, and you were just saying you didn't because you wanted to look 'cool' in front of your friends. I dunno. Best of luck with the continuing voice mail though...
