What I really, really, really hated was they way they talk and talk and talk, saying the same thing over and over and over and over again until you just want the episode to finish. And I mean, God. How many times do you have to tell us that you'll take over the world with these cards.
Incidently, couldn't they just shoot one another and take the cards if they wanted them so badly?
I wonder why they don't just summon these giant ass monsters to kill the person they are "dueling" - I think it has something to do with how mature their voices sound even though they look like 10 year olds
Strange... I watched a couple episodes online just the other day... Haven't watched the series in 5 years... I noticed a few things watching it that I didn't even notice back then as well... It seemed so... Surreal. Like, after an episode, I actually got an instinctive feeling to want to go out and buy cards. :D Crazy, isn't it? Almost hypnotic... And the way the scenes change at the speed of light like that... No wonder kids get hooked on this kind of stuff... It moves at a speed rivaling that of a child's attention span... That's one way to make money, I guess...
It's old now, but at first I found the excessive talking hilarious. I like how they yell at each other, explaining each and every last move, as if they don't already know how to play the game, or as if it's that serious. Also Yugi's belief in ''the heart of the cards.''
It is a kids show so you're not gonna see murder in an episode. That would be cool though.

you see it all the time in naruto and bleach >_> Yes but Naruto sucks arse. Bleach is ok though. lol Yugioh. I remember a few years back in the 6th grade these two boys got into a real mean argument. So their in front of the library and im thinking there gonna throw fists. When one of them says "Come on! Take out your cards im gonna whop you ass!" lol and thats how they settled it. It would have been funny if one of them would have pulled out a nine as soon as the kid said the word "cards"...lmao!
