So the winner is determined by whether the temperature is going up or down? Brilliant!!

It's all about trends:

STD infection rates slowly increase, as does global warming ... which one would reach equalibrium first? I'm sure there is a statistical probability for both. I'll look on the net for either. My GUESS would be that STDs reach a peak of increases first.

Also, STDs have been around for longer than this LASTEST uptick in warming, though there is good evidence that the Earth has warmed and cooled, warmed and cooled in cycles since it's birth as a planet. So global temperature changes is older than STDs.

Lastly, if you are careful or abstinent you can avoid STDs, but if you live on the earth (most of us do) there is no way to avoid global warming.

How does that mean it's a myth? I'm confused-you state a fact: the Earth is warming. Isn't that global warming? The reason why is a moot point.

Hmm I'd lay money on STDs, since they actually exist.

Now I'm not saying that there hasn't been some weird climate changes, but its definitely not been getting warmer where I'm at, if anything much colder, with random days of warmth... so Maybe I'll believe in "Global Warming" if they call it something more logical

I can fight STDs using a condom. In order to fight "Global Warming" I'd have to have some kind of mechanism that vents out atmospheric heat buildup into space across the globe.

It's relatively easy to stop the spread of STD's.. convincing an entire culture it's way of production is effecting the environment and to stop now.. impossible.

Um it's not hard to look when this year in my area it was in fact one of the coldest on record. I just find it extremely difficult to believe in global warming when it's been colder than ever. Maybe it's just in my area where I live, but it's definitely not getting warmer here. So yeah I really don't believe in any "Warming" but the weather has definitely been odd anymore, being cold one day, and strangely warm the next. But honestly I'd have to say its been much cooler ever since they've been saying it's getting warmer. So yeah "Global Warming" is a bunch of crap. now "Global Climate Changes" is a much more logical reason, but global warming doesn't exist.

Or maybe I'm just not in backwards-land like all the scientists. So yes global warming is existant, and I now heat up my food with my fridge, and keep it cool with my oven. Give me a break.
