alright long story short. for last 3 weeks my nipple has been hurting. and has this mass beneath it. went to my Dr. he sets me up at a WOMENS IMAGING CENTER.and they are going to sonar the hell out of it (ultrasound)

so im sure ill be the only 20yr old dude in there.

im hoping its not cancer.

but please OT tell me someone else here has had a boob exam! i cant be the only one right?

I have something similar. Apperently its just a lump. Can't remember exactly what it is, but its harmless and they dont want to remove it unless it doesnt go away. If will help with me looking slimmer, I'm all for it :lol:

i have swollen lymphs in my hip. so i got the ultrasound for that too. that was kinda weird. i was in the middle east at the time. so everything about it was real strange

It's probably nothing. Sometimes I get itchy bumps on my nipples, then they just go away.

And about a month ago, I had this big mysterious lump appear in my armpit. It was uncomfortable and I could squeeze pus out, but the lump wasn't getting any smaller. And the skin around the lump was starting to get infected. Just when I was about to see the doctor, I touched the lump and then a bunch of solid grayish-green chunks shot out of it. I'm assuming that whatever those grayish-green chunks were, they were what was causing the problem. Because as soon as those chunks squirted out from under my skin, the lump stopped swelling up, and I was back to normal within about three days.

So...go ahead and get the exam. It can't hurt. But it's probably nothing. You're an adult now, and once you get into your 20s you're gonna have weird stuff happening to your body ALL THE TIME. The vast majority of this stuff amounts to nothing, and goes away without you doing a damn thing.

ah you had an abcess. they most comonly appear in the armpit actually. generally they dont respond to antibiotics and a Dr. fixes it by draining it. and thats what you did.

i have no discharge. its not little bumps. its a solid mass under my nipple. like a jellybean. no itching. does kinda hurt though. hopefully i get no green chunks from my nipple.

this is what my dr said. then hes like but your 20. and clearly well through any of those stages of puberty. thats why im getting it examined.

I never had a lump, but I had huge fat nipples. All my friends made fun of me, but it got proportioned with my body when I got older:D

Yes, but it is still extremely unlikely in the TC's case. I had a friend that had something similiar TC. Chances are, it's not cancer. Don't sweat it. ;)

I went to the doctor the other day about my testicle hurting, quite awkward as you could imagine but similar to your story, but after he had a look it was apparently just swelling and these things can just happen. After it though I asked him something about cancer and he said that usually when its hurting its a better sign, and that cancer isnt exactly known for its pain, more for strong hard lumps, so if its just swollen and sore I wouldnt really worry to much. But I am like you and think worst case scenario.

I hope you didn't have a minor torsion. Anyways, pessimism is natural. You do of coarse want to steer away from those thoughts because the chances are it's nothing. That goes for you TC. :)
