charcoal is really good for dark drawing and shading, but its really messy

graphite is good for sketching

Really? Like im saying, if you take out the color, and keep that drawing but have it darkened linesZap-O-Matic

what kind of pen is good (like doesnt bleed into the paper) for inking like this LA_lakers_4life

prismacolor is  a great brand of pencils

I'm actually going to pick up a tablet soon. I've heard some pretty good stuff about them.

I sketch and stuff sometimes, just a regular #2 pencil. But, as usual, the pictures are sub par.

I've tried drawing with charcoal, but I think its a bit messy. But that was the first time I used it, so I probably didn't know any of the tricks to draw with it.

Microns are really good inking pens. & thick paper helps but microns dont bleed.Squidney
