So I'm having troubles with the ex...

I know how you guys hate walls of text so I'll try to keep this as simple as I can

I broke up with my ex about a year and a half ago because the relationship was going downhill although I still wanted to remain friends. I loved having her as a friend until she got a new boyfriend about 9 months ago. I got jealous and went over to her house while he was there and started A LOT of unnecessary drama. She hated me for that and never wanted to talk to me ever again. I missed her a lot as a friend so I tried talking to her not too long ago. She talks to me at times but still does not like talking to me. She broke up with her boyfriend about 3 weeks ago so nobody really cares about him anymore.

So what I did was put a bunch of pictures together of us when we dated and made a tribute video of her and put it up on youtube. Do you guys think that I am going a little overboard? I don't want to be with her, I just simply want her back into my life as a friend...

If you want to try to soften her up, after you start talking to her a bit, you could still put together photos of you two. Like a little picture book or something. But that is only if things are heading down a positive track and she's interested in being your friend... or more. Youtube is public and not so personal. And you two need to be in a better place first anyway.

That's not manly at all, it's not even pathetic, it's justcreepy. I'm referring to the video. It sounds like she doesn't want you around at all. Sounds like she doesn't want to TRY to get along with you anymore. Once people are at the point of Trying to get along the relationship is doomed. Sounds like she tolerated you but you went beyond her tolerance.

If you want to be just friends, then you've gone too far...and the YouTube idea was 100% wrong.

Being friends means you don't mind - at all - if she's dating another guy...remember, friends, and that's it.

You really need to take a step back, and not crowd her so much.

Trust me my friends tell me that all the time but I need to keep trying. There is something in her voice and the way she acts when she is around me that lets me know she still cares for me even though she doesn't want to. I was her first everything and she was mine so I mean we do have a big connection together and I wouldn't have made the video if I thought it was going to be a total fail.

As far as the music goes, I'm not really sure where I got it. It's an old unnamed song I had in my zune playlist from a while ago and it just seemed to sorta get a grasp on me
