so i've decided Predators was awesome.

okay, so of course it's not quite as good as the one with governer Schwarzenegger and former governer Jesse Ventura. but it was still awesome. i have to hand it to Adrien Brody. never thought of him as the action hero type, but i think he did a good job.

In my opinion using Adrien Brody actually makes it seem more realistic (from what I could tell from the trailer anyway), most real soldiers wouldn't be able to punch out a hippo like Arnie or Ventura.

Yeah, he did a good job and the movie was fun to watch, but what I don't get is why so many people hated the movie; some even said that they fell asleep to it, or that it's plain ugly. I mean, the creatures are cool and the story does make a little sense, so why all the hate? Iwould givethis movie a C+; not so engaging but solid to watch.

even the music was very true to the original. i even thought it was the same composer, alan silvestri (who also did Back to the Future). but it was a different composer. i was impressed though, because it stayed so true to the original.

Indeed. Watched it on the 8th and I decided it was awesome then... :P
I doubt it will win many awards, but it was a lot of fun. I'll certainly be buying it on either DVD or Blu-Ray when it comes out.
