So now that summer is a few weeks shy of over, what would you rate yours?

Rate it 1 out of 10 and explain why...

I'd give mine an 8

-- I had a LOT of family time, which was awesome. I did a ton with friends, and literally every night I was busy. Even though summer school was a drag, I actally did very well. And, work was pretty decent. The only negative part is that I spent WAY too much time worrying about random stuff and I didn't go travel.

Horrible break up, a fight, feels like crap. Was starting out great though.

Haha, nice dude! I actually did that wuite a few times too! I'm savoring these times, becasue I know when I get a job in the real world, I'll miss college days :)

ups and downs. Went to some great parties, stayed with some great friends. Had the oppertuntiy to earn a fair bit of money whilst doing very little. However I have been very bored inbetween, I miss my ex, I miss uni life, I hate living in the middle of nowhere with no job or car when all your friends have one or both. I get buyers remorse a lot. I feel like I'm missing out on things. But hey, life is what you make it of and right now, I need to do a better job at it.

5/10. This was a COOL summer. 60s-low 80s everyday. It's like we never got out of spring here in SD. More of a winter guy anyway but I love hot summers. :P

I don't have any friends where I live, most of the ones I have I met at college and they live all around. Other than that I've been at home most of the time with my family, some of which I don't like. So I rate it a 3/10. Plus my mom has been out of work for 8 months and things are getting tight.

5-6/10. First time I had summer classes at university (difficult classes) and first time I also had a summer job. Add the heat and its been quite a brutal summer. Luckily, for nearly 3 weeks starting next Wednesday I will be vising family and just relaxing before the Fall semester begins.

Kind of hard, I've mostly been home, but I did do a few cool things. I went to Seattle and got to visit the Kurt Cobain bench, and I've been practicing guitar quite a bit, I've got a show coming up on Saturday. In September, before school starts, I'll see Slayer, Megadeth and Testament live. Now that will make or break my Summer.

Two stars out of Five.

8-9 I'd say I learned a bit about myself and am ready for the new school / work year.

7/10 worked a lot made some good money and did a summer course so senior year will be shorter, but it's just been too hot to do anything outdoors. Almost makes me wish I took another course.

Okay, I guess; I'm going to a party in late August so that might change my feelings. I have done absolutely nothing but read, watch movies, workout, hang out with friends, and sparsely played video games. I guess the best thing that came out of my summer--so far--is that I got a job, though I don't start till September.

I've been taking summer classes, but the quarter ends in 2 weeks and then I go to Italy for a month:D

i give it a five this was an ok summer but it was more crazy during the school year but i don't see many people outside of school. This is my final year of high school though so this year is gonna get wild.

I also did work a lot and hope to get a car before winter so next summer will be a blast.

I'd rate my summer a 1 out of 10. It started out OK but as the days came the summer got worse. Not at all what I thought it would be this year. Better luck next summer I hope!!!

9. I had an AMAZING summer. I did sooo much and all under a budget. It was just an amazing summer, partied very hard but did not over do it. I got promoted at work, helped my folks remodel some of their house, wen't to tons of concerts (Silversun Pickups and Air were amazing!) Had about 3 barnfires, made 4 wedding cakes, plus 5 other catering events, did my sisters birthday, wen't to pride and stayed there 3 days. Made lots of new friends and so much more.

The only think i kinda regret is, I didn't game as much as I wanted too. O well theres always Fall :P

A lot of bad things (and I mean bad) happened, but that's life. I still found a way to enjoy the summer. :D

4/11. I only went to the beach 2 times and comic con, but for only one day. Besides that I've done nothing. Also why 11 you say? Cause I like to go one step beyond.

0, as it was winter here :P

This upcoming summer for me, if all goes to plan, next summer should be about a 9. I'm planning a trip to the Gold Coast for two weeks in February, going to see a few concerts in December and January, and spending a lot of nights out drinking with mates.
