So OT, do you eat snails ?

Turns out only 2 people in my friend group like snails (myself included), many people don't even want to try it because...well... they're snails. But just give it a shot, it's tasty as hell !

Nope. I went on an excursion with my French class to a French restaurant and I was the only one who did not try any escargot. My teacher was quite upset with me.

No I haven't. Yet at least.

People here actually eat a lot of them and they say it's quite good. The reason I haven't is because they're usually eaten at pubs or outdoor summer parties and I just can't be bordered enough to order them the few times I go to those places. Not that I find them discusting.

There's another thing I just don't understand: In the internet I have found some people who say eels are discusting. WTF? Eeels? Snails I can understand but why the bloody hell do people consider eels gross? It's just a goddanm fish! Its meat in terms of texture and looks is no different from pretty much every fish out there (except salmon) An incredibly tasty one at that!
