So say you're in a friends dorm room and....

A girl burst in bawling her eyes out. She sits on his bed and continues to do so. You barely know this girl and your friend is currently taking a dump in the bath room....

What would you do?:?

Not that this happened to me last night or anything....

I would go over to her and ask what was wrong. And proceed from there. If she doesn't wanna talk or anything, I'd just carry on my way.

You don't even have to go over there. Just simply say "Are you okay?" If she wants to talk she'll answer, if not, then just say "so-and-so will be out in a minute" and continue on with whatever you were doing. It really isn't that difficult of a situation.

Common sense and courtesy would be to say something along the lines of, "Are you ok?" or "Is something wrong" or "Do you have the right room?"FragStains

In my case I'd bang the bathroom door of my friend and tell him a crying girl is looking for him. Might be the gf or something. If that doesn't work ( friend might be too busy concentrating and all ), I'd just leave a box of tissues beside her, get my valuables and walk out. I don't want to be involved in whatever it is she's crying about.

I'm copying this down as notes for next time....if ever there is a next time.

i mean....talk to her? ive only had the girl run into the room bawling her eyes out wanting to talk to me....i did have a guy walk into my room hammered drunk in the middle of the night, and try to pee in my closet thinking it was the bathroom

I would approach the situation like this:

- Tell her to wait one minute, then I would go grab my "serious" fake mustache and throw it on

- sit down and ask her to tell you whats on her mind (obviously not pay attention, because you may be in for a long story)

- Halfway through, comment on the mustache and ask if she wants one

- Fall asleep in the middle of her story

Problem solved!
