So there's this girl... (Another girl help thread)

So there was this girl who was beautiful and she ran track like me. I only saw her at meets because she goes to a different school at a division lower than me (I'm Div. 1 and she's D.2). I've only seen her like 4x and I didn't say anything to her, in fact, i'm pretty sure she doesn't know I exist. She's a great runner (I've seen a couple of her races). The thing is, I'll never see her again... unless a miricle happens (which probably means that we both go to All-States or someting else).

So... I was wondering (since I messed up by not talking to her, albeit my numerous chances to do so), that in the event that I do see another girl, what should I do? The reason I never talked to that other girl was because she was basically surrounded by friends/parents/coaches whenever I had to opportunity to talk, so I didn't do it. I know what I have to do (talk to her... duh), but what am I supposed to do if she's surrounded by lots of people. And what do I say to start a conversation.

I don't think I look bad (in fact, numerous women and girls have told me I am good looking, but I'm not sure if they're just being polite by saying nice thigns about me) and i'm pretty sure that I can think of something to talk about if I can actually talk to her. I just that I get all freaked out around girls (I go to an all boys school) and Idk why.

Any tips?

ya thats almost what i did and it worked.the girl i liked was always surrounded by her friends and than i just pulled her away. and told her how i felt about her and she was flattered, than i was like i have something for u, and i handed her my number on a piece of paper.and now i am almost with her.so it sounds hard to do but it works, u have to just pull her away.

First off, if she's surrounded by people, give her some water or anything healthy to drink and say "What a great run..." she'll be like "thaaaaaaanks hmm hmm hmm ^_^" and just start talking about something in common...like running... So then you can stick to the basic line while she's talking to you:

The lines are:

-"Uh huh...."

-"oooh...okay"

-"Oh ya, that's very interesting...and makes sense that (summary of converstaion)"

The lines to answer her technical questions that doesn't relate to going out on a date:

-"oh...well you know how it is"

-"Ya I do"

-"Nah..."

-"Well...I plan to..."

Follow those lines and you'll be holding hand with a possibility of touch her shoulder....maybe her breast if you play your cards right.

Before you approach her, you might want to be sure that you impress her somewhat or get her attention. And from there take the advices other posters mentioned.gloomy_druid
