So what are you reading right now?

I'm reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak, "Star Wars Republic Commando: Triple Zero" by Karen Traviss, and "Wayne Rooney: My Story" by none other than Wayne Rooney.

For once I'm actually reading two things: One Day In the Life of Ivan Denisovich, for an essay I'm writing, and a book about Alexander the Great for my own amusement.

George Friedman's The Next 100 Years. Some people think it's just silly and pretentious, but I fail to see what's wrong with futurology. It's a challenging field. The point is not to make an accurate prediction of the future...

Well, I recently finished Warriors: Fire and Ice so I'm probably going to read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince next. I may start that today. But at the moment I'm reading the topic title.

Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett (again - I can't get enough of his books and even when I'm reading it second time it's still so damn awesome :D) I love Pratchett's books with Lancre witches as main characters. This trio never fails to make me laugh.

I have this book literally sitting in my lap. The editor is the president of my seminary.

Nothing sadly. I'll be home for Spring Break next week and I plan on reading either Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead.

No matter how many times I try to escape academia, it keeps pulling me back in (and this time, I'm reading this solely for my own interest).

'Once' by Morris Gleitzman. It's on my council's Libraries and Learning Top Ten Children's Fiction list so I need to read it before recommending it to the parents/kids, but it is surprisingly involving I have been reading it for just an hour and am nearly finished.

Then I'm going to read Treasure Island again. Then Child 44 by Tom Smith.

That'll keep me going for a week.

I usually read history and science fiction. Right now I'm reading the third book in the Rebulic Commando series "True Colors" by Karen Traviss.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and Nine Princes in Amber by Roger Zelazny. So far I like the former and dislike the latter.
