I'm reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak, "Star Wars Republic Commando: Triple Zero" by Karen Traviss, and "Wayne Rooney: My Story" by none other than Wayne Rooney.

What are you guys reading?

For once I'm actually reading two things: One Day In the Life of Ivan Denisovich, for an essay I'm writing, and a book about Alexander the Great for my own amusement.

George Friedman's The Next 100 Years. Some people think it's just silly and pretentious, but I fail to see what's wrong with futurology. It's a challenging field. The point is not to make an accurate prediction of the future...

Well, I recently finished Warriors: Fire and Ice so I'm probably going to read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince next. I may start that today. But at the moment I'm reading the topic title.

That is a very good book! I read 2 years ago, and I really enjoyed it. I like the whole "undergrounds of the rough and tough Coruscant streets" theme it's got going on.

Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett (again - I can't get enough of his books and even when I'm reading it second time it's still so damn awesome :D) I love Pratchett's books with Lancre witches as main characters. This trio never fails to make me laugh.

"Zoroastrian Theology: From the Earliest Times to the Present Day" by Maneckji Nusservanji Dhalla

No matter how many times I try to escape academia, it keeps pulling me back in (and this time, I'm reading this solely for my own interest).

'Once' by Morris Gleitzman. It's on my council's Libraries and Learning Top Ten Children's Fiction list so I need to read it before recommending it to the parents/kids, but it is surprisingly involving I have been reading it for just an hour and am nearly finished.

Then I'm going to read Treasure Island again. Then Child 44 by Tom Smith.

That'll keep me going for a week.

Just finished "the girl with the dragon tattoo"- a very enjoyable read. No i think i may continue by reading the great gatsby again; for school. I also would like someone else to decide what i should do next- read "the raw shark texts" , "all the pretty horses" , "schindlers ark" , "all quiet on the western front" or "the girl who played with fire". or the first Lordof the rings book (of seven that is no referring to the trilogy". Someone decide for me!!!

I just started "A Very British Coup" by Chris Mullen. Its a political thriller set in 1989, where a fictional socialist Labour party wins the general election, and the establishment tries to get rid of them. It was made in to a good mini-series on TV.
