10:27AM: "Very straightforward to manage events. Here are photos of girls with balloons. I don't want to throw them away, just hide them. Option to show hidden photos. Very, very simple. Gonna show you searching. Find all photos tagged with "Connor", sorted by event. Look at things by date or rating. Sort by just five star photos. Groups by event, finds 26 photos. That's an overview of iPhone '08." The crowd starts clapping, which seems a bit unnecessary

*gets torch and pitchfork*
They look nice.
Why are they crazy expensive though?
Kikouken
Cutting edge components and having to manufacture those parts to fit inside the small housing of a monitor are the main reasons.
They are not expensive, a dell with those specs would cost the same even maybe more. And it's beautiful, sessy, powerful, runs windows and osx and they made a pact with the devil to have that design.akruan
If you consider how much it would cost to build your own computer with the specs mentioned in the TC's link, it's a rip-off.

I want to see somebody try and fit those components into a design like that with a custom built pc.
It looks nice and all, but still overpriced as hell.
I wouldn't mind getting one though...

Nope, I pretty much stopped reading your post when you mentioned the word trash. ;)
And Alienwares are the bulkiest most overpriced computers in the pc market. Not saying they are not cool. But yeah, don't talk about rip offs and then mention Alienware.
Edit: But now that I read it. Let me write about it a little.
"The world runs on windows" = "The world runs on viruses and blue screen of deaths" Also the world runs on gas, doesn't mean gas is good for the world.
"OSX Is a dumbed down version of Unix/Linux." = Hmm the whole point of an OS is to make it easy, accesible and user friendly, so everybody can have a productive experience with a computer. Or do you spend your time launching applications from the command line Mr. Tech Expert?.
"And im sick of USERS trying telling ME the TECH, certified expert, whats better." = Who the hell you think you are? have you given us proof of how perfect and intelligent you are? For all we know you are 12 and trying to be cool. Dude, this is the internet; what you are in real life doesn't matter here.
"There's a reason the Mac was designed with only ONE mouse button." Actually Apple had 4 buttons at the beggining. Not defending the one mouse button but if you are smart enough you know you can plug in any mouse and it'll work, you know without installing those pesky drivers. :P
