So what is Resident Evil's storyline in the movie series??

I liked the first movie, it was pretty hardcore and dark. Second one was a bit of suck and passable.. third one was just a "wtf" for me. Each movie started off with a bunch of people thrown in with Alice. I know the movie and the game has seperate storylines right? The first RE game was called Biohazard? In the first movie when they were trapped in the room and red queen was telling alice to shoot rain if she wanted the doors open, just before that when alice and spence(?) had the flashback she was muttering something about the "antivirus" what was that all about?

girl falls on head, wakes up, people take her with them underground to see why a lot of people died, they find out they became zombies, run out of place, lock it up, surviving people get captured by orginization that made the people underground zombie, those people open up underground place, unleash zombies, zombies escape into town overtop of underground place, people who made zombies try to contain them and fail, zombies take over world, girl who fell on head keeps fighting zombies, kills people who made the zombies, girl activates crap load of clones of herself to kill zombies

thats the storyline basically for the three movies
